Sophia would pause where she was standing, like she was going to say something else, but only shook her head. "I guess you're right..." She said as she slowly walked over and crouched down to pick up the letter again. "I'll be out in a minute, I kinda want to mull this over a little bit more if that's okay with you." She asked, looking down at the letter again, and then up to Roland.

<color=green>"Very good then. Take your time." And Winona left the kitchen with her sand castle equipment.

"Sure." Sophia answered back as she watched Winona head out of the kitchen. At that point she sat back down on one of the chairs again, a little uncomfortable with the wet swimsuit, but didn't make much of a fuss about it. After a long pause, she opened up the letter again, having another go at reading it, maybe she's missed something, and it was all just a joke. But the letter was not magic, and revealed the same message again to Sophia's dismay. "[small]Damn it![/small]" She cursed under her breath.

Whenever Roland decided to enter into the kitchen either to talk to Sophia or simply ask for a look at the note himself, Sophia would indulge his curiosity before finally heading back outside.

"Sorry I took so long, now where were we?" She asked, still seeming a bit melancholic but otherwise fine.

Roland walked into the kitchen, hearing only the last comment from Seras as he entered. Seeing no need to repeat Seras' question, he stood in the doorway and waited for a response from Winona or Sophia.

Winona waved to Sophia from afar with a bright smile.
<color=green>"Hey there! Over here!" She called out, she had been drawing around in the sand with a stick along side making her own tiny little structure.

EMily and Gwen were busy with their own project, which was creating a miniature set of ramparts for their soon-to-exist sandcastle.

As Sophia and the others exited the ship, they would pass by Joel, who was lying on his back on the sand. His left arm was detached and sitting on his chest.
Matilda would be standing in the same place as before.

"So!" Sophia said as she clapped her hands together. "Based on what your sisters are making, that's what we're going for with these sand castles?" Sophia said as she have a quick look at what Gwen and EMily were up to. "I'd think we'd have to move some of this fluffier sand away so that the castle has something flatter to sit on right? Sounds like a good idea to me at least."

"Hey Joel, you doing alright there? Your arms off!" Sophia asked, realizing Joel's arm was off again. She wasn't quite as frightened as last time seeing him without his arm, but she wasn't sure how easy it was to attach and detach the arm.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just took my arm off because I didn't want to get sand in the joints. Plus, I can dry the underside of it off with my body heat." Joel replied. "How are you?"

<color=green>"Good idea!" She said. She took a cup to scoop the excess sand to flatten the sand for their sand castle construction.

"I was doing better before... but if you like you could try making a sand castle with us too, or with EMily and Gwen, they only have the two with them?" Sophia offered, trying to stay positive. "Sorry that took so long Matilda, did you want to show more spells?"

"No problem, at least I'm helping with something involving this castle." Sophia smiled weakly then got down on her knees as she helped Winona move some of the sand away.

"What's a sand castle?" Joel asked, looking over at the others without moving anything but his head.

"Well, I've already shown you all the magic I can do. I can also sense guilt and how good someone is. I never said, but I kinda did that on you." Matilda replied.

She clasped her hands together once their workspace was flat.
<color=green>"Okay then. Now we can use these cups and bowls to cast structures from the damp sand. Perhaps we could start by making the ramparts and then the gates."

"Come help and you'll see, I'm not sure exactly what it's going to be either." Sophia answered back to Joel, then looked to Matilda.

"Oh really? Wait, what do you mean you already did that?" Sophia said, initially a little disappointed that Matilda only knew how to do those few things, but then realizing she'd somehow looked at Sophia's inner feelings and what not. "You spied on me?" Sophia asked, a bit conflicted by what she'd heard, and although she made note of what Winona had told her she waited to hear Matilda's answer back, slowly digging some sand up for the ramparts.

Joel sat up and began reattaching his arm to his shoulder, before making his way over to Sophia and the others.

"When we met and shook hands. I was going to do it on the knights, but they were already dead. Sorry." Matilda explained. "I don't know any specific details or anything, in case you were worried about that."

The sisters present waved over to Joel with smiles.

Sara was still in the process of racing Captain America to the fishing dock and back. It's a full mile to there and back.

It was pretty noticeable to Winona and Joel that Sophia was a bit conflicted to hear this news, almost like someone rummaging through her things without her permission. "Just try not to do that again without at least asking me, please?" Sophia asked of her, trusting Matilda enough to believe she wouldn't abuse her abilities, but also wanting to express her own opinions on the matter as well.

"I don't think I'll ever need to, but sure." Matilda replied, seeming a little awkward. "If it makes you feel any better, you seemed like a really good person."
