Sophia turned her head back as she heard the conversation with Winona and EMily, far too close to not pick up random conversation. Needless to say, she didn't want to believe the news. "W-What do you mean by that? What do you mean she's gone?!" Sophia asked to Winona, looking conflicted.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"She's left. I read her letter in the kitchen. All it said was how useless she felt in the group and wanted to find a way back to her world on her own. I left the letter back in the kitchen."

Seras had gotten caught up in swimming under water for a long time. She resurfaced and looked around, finding she was pretty much alone, so she went back to the ship. She saw the Mason sisters and Sophia standing around and walked over while drying herself with a towel.

"Y-You're kidding? She was there for me all that time." Sophia answered back, looking quite hurt. "A-are you really sure that's her letter?" She asked Winona.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"You can find it in the kitchen. I'll go back with you."

OOC: @Zeph. I feel like you sometimes use question marks liberally.

OoC: I use everything liberally, even toilet paper! Now if I was really being liberal about it, I'd be using two ??

"Please. I really need to see this for myself." Sophia asked Winona, then looked over to Matilda. "I'm really sorry, I need to see this though first." She apologized to her before heading to the ship at a quick pace. Already a few strides away from the other ladies, she brought her arm up as she used the back of it to rub her eyes.

Seras came in at the end of the conversation, but she picked up a lot of sadness from Sophia and Winona. "Is there something wrong?" she asked.

OOC: @Slenn: Are you calling Zeph a liberal?

 

[Slenn]

Winona set down the dinnerwares on the sand and followed Sophia into the ship. The other two sisters waited for her to return.

When they got into the kitchen, Winona said:

OOC: @Outis. Well he certainly isn't conserving his question marks. He's going to make a huge question mark footprint in the internet ecosystem.

With the Mason's suddenly walking away without so much as acknowledging her question or presence, Seras decided to follow them into the ship.

Sophia walked into the kitchen, looking around before Winona pointed it out. Sophia then quickly picked up the letter and opened it as she slowly started to read it. Winona would notice that Sophia took a fairly long time to read the note as well, much longer than one would expect for her to take. She'd know when she was pretty much done when Sophia sat down at the table, leaning on her knees with her arms and her head tilted downwards. "I... I don't know what to say." She said, putting a hand to her forehead.

OoC: But Slenn!? I have so many questions that need answering! XD

Also Outis, EMily and Gwen are still at the beach where Seras was, so they didn't leave.

 

[Slenn]

Winona sat down with her and gave her a side hug.
<color=green>"I'm not sure what to do too. She didn't want to stick around for goodbyes either. The best thing we can do is to respect her wish."
She turned around to find Seras.
<color=green>"Hello there Seras. We've just lost a group member."

The girls outside started making sandcastles to bide their time.

"W-what?" Seras asked, confused and worried.

Sophia looked over at Winona as she sat down, and wasn't sure exactly what she was up to until she gave her a hug. Given the attire, and the just recent swim, it took a lot for Sophia to not simply bolt from her seat. The chocolate smell would be present again as Sophia looked a bit uncomfortable, rubbing her side. "S-sorry. I just..." She started to explain before letting out a heavy groan. "You're probably right about Victoria..." She said remorsefully.

 

[Slenn]

Winona backed away and made a guilty smile.
<color=green>"Oh! Sorry. I understand. Just offering a hug. Why don't we honor her by building a sandcastle?"

"What's going on?!?! What happened to Victoria?" Seras asked, becoming quite upset.

Roland walked into the kitchen, hearing only the last comment from Seras as he entered. Seeing no need to repeat Seras' question, he stood in the doorway and waited for a response from Winona or Sophia.

"No, it's alright... You didn't mean anything by it." Sophia answered back, shaking her head as she thought about how much of a goof see must have looked.

"Victoria left us. She left this letter, and... well she's gone. I didn't even say goodbye to her." Sophia answered Seras and Roland, sounding a mixed of hurt and a little peeved.

Seras didn't say anything. She took the letter and read it herself. She then read it several times to make sure she was seeing properly. Once she was done she dropped the letter and started walking to her rom, covering her eyes as she went.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"There's nothing much more we can do, Sophia. She didn't leave a contact." She got up and sighed. <color=green>"Let's go back outside."
