"Sparkling on me head?" Sophia repeated as she looked up as she tried to think of what Winona was trying to get at. "OH! Do you mean these?" Sophia asked as she reached up with one hand to her ear touching at the base of her ear on the outer side of her head. A little bit of fiddling with the fur that was damply blocking the way, Sophia was able to make the glinting bit more visible, a small stud earring of sorts. "Ya these are for my glasses? You never saw them before?"

Matilda wouldn't have felt the piercings before, partially because she had been feeling more of the very tips of the ear, and not near the base, and also because Mark had been a dummy and forgotten to mention them anyways. They were normally rather covered by her fur and hair, but with both being now wet, it was a bit easier to spot.

<color=green>"To be quite honest, not really. Those are for glasses? Are they for reading?"

"Well you've seen the glasses I've put on before right? Maybe you were sleeping when I talked to EMily about them? I'm sure you've seen me where them before, surely." Sophia asked, trying to think of when she'd talked with Winona with them on. "They... are actually for distance." Sophia paused as she looked over to Matilda for a moment, feeling a bit awkward complaining given the circumstances, at least she could see 'something'. "Like I've said my eyes are pretty terrible on their own."

<color=green>"I think she has mentioned them in her reports, yes. Is this where they materialize? Do you tap the sparkly thingy and they appear?"

"Oh, no they have their own glasses case, it would have been a bit more expensive to have them incorporated into these." Sophia shook her head as she tried to swim a little bit closer to the shore. "No the studs I have there are to keep my glasses on my face, you know, glasses like your sister's got don't really stay of my face right for obvious ear reasons." Sophia commented as she could finally just barely touch the ground under here, feeling much better. "I, don't know why they're lighting up as much as they are now, maybe it's something to do with the ocean?" She thought out loud.

<color=green>"I see. That would make sense. I do wonder if the light reflected off the ocean is substantial enough. But water has a very low albedo. Maybe it has to do with the increased presence of water vapor. Sunlight could be creating additional water vapor that may be effecting the things you have."

Sophia would see Matilda staring out to sea, as she had been for the entirety of the conversation. "Maybe the water is making her hair stick to her head, uncovering the studs." Matilda said.

Victoria redressed herself in the privacy of the space-craft. After doing so, she rummaged around until she found a sturdy bag, then packed all the clothing she had acquired. She wrote a note on a folded sheet of paper and left it in the kitchen where someone was likely to find it. After finishing all her business in the ship, Victoria gathered her belongings and left, walking off away from the beach and going completely unnoticed.

Having swam around for a while, Joel returned to the beach and began heating up, causing the water to rise off his body as steam.

Samus, coming back from the water, noticed Vicky heading off. She ran after her as she walked along the beach. "Hey, Victoria!"

"I... think Matilda's answer makes more sense actually Winona." Sophia answered as she considered the two. "I didn't really ever mention anything because whenever I wore them no one asked me about how glasses with no arms managed to stick to my face, so I just thought people were familiar with this sort of thing?"

<color=green>"Ah, I see. That would make sense. Shall we continue the swimming lesson or go back to shore?"

"Maybe we could take a short break by the shore? If I get much more water I think I might turn into an otter." Sophia joked as she waited for a moment for Winona and Matilda to respond before heading closer to the shore.

Winona chuckled.
<color=green>"Sure, we could make sandcastles or something."

She and the other two sisters went off to return to shore.

"Okay." Matilda said, before swimming towards the beach with a backstroke.

"Alright, sure?" Sophia answered back as she got out of the water more, removing her goggles so that they were on her forehead. "You, might need to show me what that is too then. There's no way we'd make an entire castle out of sand, that's just crazy." Sophia answered back, in a good mood as she chuckled herself. She also took the time to reach behind herself and ring her tail out, wanting it to dry up a bit quicker.

Victoria would have been well out of eyesight of the beach by the time anyone would have come back to shore.

<color=green>"Oh, they're much smaller than that." She giggled as she got to the shore.

Once Sophia was out of the water to about her ankles, she shook her head vigorously to get some more of the water out of her hair and ear fur. She also took the time to gently pull off the floaties from her arms. "So do you want me to dig up a bunch of sand for this much smaller sand castle, or how is this working?" Sophia asked as she looked back to Winona, her personality getting closer to what it normally was now that she didn't have to deal with the big scary ocean anymore.
