[color=003399]"Colorado? Maybe you are from this universe. Lots of weird stuff has been going on there."[/color] Joel replied, after a few moments of thinking. [color=003399]"Ever hear of a mercenary group called 'Desperado'?"[/color]
[color=003399]"Dead, mostly. They weren't very nice people, so we put a stop to them."[/color] Joel held out the Murasama so Kenna could see it. [color=003399]"I actually got this from one of them. Though, the guy whose sword this was apparently hasn't let being dead stop him from being a thorn in our side."[/color]
"...OK then..." Kenna said. "You guys took on one of those bad guy PMCs they use in shitty action movies and video games? And you got a sword out of it?"
[color=003399]"I dunno about action movies and video games, but basically. One of the members of our group used to work for them, before he got turned into a vampire, too."[/color] Joel replied, lowering his arm. [color=003399]"So, no cyborg soldiers fighting in Syria? No giant mechs getting blown up? None of that happened where you're from?"[/color]
"OK, I am definitely not from around here. Trust me, if there were giant mech's around, I would never hear the end of it."
[color=003399]"That's a shame. If you were, we could probably just fly you home."[/color] Joel said.
[color=003399]"Anyway, your world doesn't have cyborgs and mechs and stuff. So, what does it have?"[/color] Joel asked.
"It's basically normal, but I recently found out that monsters exist. Vampires, demons, ghosts, zombies, mages, golems, shit like that."
[color=003399]"Never heard of an actual golem, but other than that, that sounds kinda like my world."[/color] Joel replied.
"Well, I say golem. It's more like just one guy with magic powered robot-looking limbs. Kinda like yours actually." Kenna said conversationally, only realising it could be taken the wrong way after opening her mouth.
Joel looked at his metal hand, then back at Kenna. [color=003399]"This one's completely mechanical. No magic involved."[/color] he said. [color=003399]"How'd you learn about all this stuff, anyway, if you don't mind me asking?"[/color]
"I.. I got jumped by what I thought was just a bunch of gang bangers. Turns out they were werewolves. After that, I decided to go looking for them, and got involved in this little underworld."
Seras disengaged from Samus, seeing as she was probably busy, and came across Joel and Kenna. "'Ello. Who's this, Joel?" she asked, smiling presently at Kenna.
[color=003399]"You didn't get bitten, did you?"[/color] Joel asked, before looking up at Seras. [color=003399]"This is Kenna. Apparently, she just showed up here."[/color]
