A few hours ago.
After being told to meet at the airport at a later time to meet the intermediary and recieving the coordinates to the place, and leaving the UN building and retrieving the jet-bike, Elm and Sam returned to Forefront's space station. There, the two first reported back on their progress, and after this, Elm lead Sam around the parts of the space station he hadn't seen yet, save for the sections there were off-limits to all but those in the higher echelons. Once Finished, Sam talked with other members in Forefront to get a better idea of the organization's goals and methods. Elm, in this time, carefully watched Sam, noting his questions and reactions, adding them to the file on Sam it was compiling.
When he couldn't think of anything more to do, Sam busied himself brushing up on his sword technique.

Geneva, Switzerland, midnight.
Roughly five minutes after Shara touched down at the airport, the ground to the west of the landing site began rumbling, increasing in intensity for a couple of seconds, until a portal with a white edge opened up. From this portal, Elm and Sam emerged, standing in front of it to obscure the view until it closed.
"Huh... What are the chances?" Sam said as he saw the Sworder, speaking mostly to himself.
"Admittedly, this is... unexpected." Elm chimed in, briefly pausing in the middle of the sentence.
For a moment, the two discussed what to do, deciding on at least approaching to see why Shara was there. The two approached, with Sam walking upfront with his hand placed on the pommel of his sword, and Elm following closely behind, the fact that it was extremely exposed not lost on it.
