Elsewhere in the city, a pack of soldier-bots broke into a jewelry store, and after killing the workers inside, found the safe which contained the chunk of Australium that had provoked the invasion. The robots took the safe to the nearest carrier tank, which immediately drove back into the ocean.
"Yes! I have the Australium!" The voice said from the speaker on the nearest carrier tank to the group."Look at how your efforts were in vain! Now to destroy the rest of the- wait, stop breaking my robots! Those are expensive, you know!"
Samus was able to destroy the bots that were attacking her, but she would find that three more batbots began chasing her, and a blue targeting laser from a rooftop in the city had focused on the back of her helmet.
Kenna's Giant Swing successfully knocked down all of the robots surrounding her, but most of them quickly got back to their feet and mindlessly charged at her again.
As Winona arrived to help Joel, three of the robots on Joel broke off and charged at her, but were easily dispatched by her hammers. Joel now only had two robots trying to hold him down.
EMily and Gwen's combined attack destroyed the remaining robots that were trying to reach the sisters.
Another pack of ten newly built scout-bots charged at Matilda and Mr Stone, but were quickly dispatched by their knives and bullets.
Sara's blast took out a large portion of the machinery in the carrier tank, but a small amount remained functional. Now only three robots were built at a time instead of ten.
Alain stood back for a while as he realized what was going on, then ran inside the ship to grab his hammer. He emerged from the ship not long after, looking around the battlefield as he debated whether he should even join the fight. Finally, in a decision that was more recklessness than courage, he began running towards Kenna to assist her.
"Noooooo[sub]oooo...[/sub] You damaged my carrier! Now the insurance is going to shoot up! The deductible alone will cost me a fortune! That's it, screw killing everyone in this city, I just want YOU PEOPLE DEAD! All robots, converge on carrier number seven!" The man ordered through the loudspeaker. As he finished speaking, robots from across the city all began making thier way to the group, although it would take some time for them to get within fighting range. If anyone was looking towards the city, they would see an army of many different kinds of robots, charging towards the beach. In the back of this horde were several giant robots which stood over fifteen feet tall, also heading to kill everyone near Dave's ship.
