After a while of Scout kind of dejectedly sitting in the corner for a while, When they were climbing out of the sub, He said to Miss Pauling "... So How do you live on two hours of sleep?"
Noticed that the kid with the shotgun took a shining too that Miss Pauling. Couldn't blame the kid for trying but he should have really took a hint by now. I guess that's young love after all though. I climbed up the submarine and flicked my cigarette into the sea.

"I have no idea, Scout! I really have no idea!" Miss Pauling said to Scout, then turned towards the others in the sub. "Okay, we got some Australium, so I guess we should fly back to the base in Teufort."[hr]

"Ha! That is better, rodent girl! You go do what you are doing. And maybe that disgusting smell will go with you." Zhanna told Sophia before she made her way to the others, bumping into Sophia again as she passed by.

 

[Slenn]

The Masons came across Sophia as she was running. They stopped abruptly as they got near her.

"Is there an emergency? What's going on?"
<color=purple>"I did hear someone yell 'robots'. How close are they nearby?"

 

[Zepherus14]

"That's ferret you dummy!" Sophia retorted back to Zhanna as she rounded the corner, and quickly came upon EMily and Gwen.

"Yes, at least one carrier is coming our way, I saw it through the window." Sophia answered back, still looking and sounding quite agitated, but trying not to show it. "They are getting pretty close by now though." Sophia said as she rubbed her forehead, the chocolate smell more pungent than it normally would be in a stressful situation.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"That would explain the incoming masses that I'm feeling. It felt pretty large."

<color=brown>"We'll need to make sure the exits are secure." Sara's face was serious for a second. But as she sniffed the air she blushed a tad. She shook her head. <color=brown>"Let's find them and make sure they're locked."

 

[Zepherus14]

"And what should I do?" Sophia asked Sara, looking from Gwen to Sara, and then noticed the rosiness of her cheeks. Having heard Zhanna's comment about her smell, she was a bit leery to why Sara was blushing.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"EMily, Winona, and I will secure the three exits individually. You and Gwen will listen and sense for any motions of robots outside. How good is your hearing? Am I correct in that it's much better than a human's?"

 

[Zepherus14]

Sophia looked to each sister as Sara named them off, before finally nodding to Sara's question. "Uh, ya it's a lot better than humans. I can't say by how much, but you're right." Sophia quickly answered back.

 

[Demonjazz]

The crew of the sub all piled into Dave's ship.
Engineer had decided to spend most of his time in the flight next to the ship's robot captain which had annoyed him to no end "You know Pardner that if you changed your engine slightly we could increase the productivity of the engines by one hundred percent"
"Why are you still here?"

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"Alright! Let's split apart!" Sara commanded, and the sisters went off to find the exits and make sure they were secure. Gwen stuck around with Sophia.

<color=purple>"Let's keep our senses on alert. We'll patrol the area. My eyes will be closed, but that'll only mean that I'm concentrating on masses."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Be careful!" Sophia said as the other sisters left.

"Alright, I guess I should keep listening for metal on metal? But with your eyes closed, do I need to guide you around then?" Sophia asked Gwen as she looked around the room they were in, trying to think were then nearest outer wall was.

 

[Slenn]

Gwen shut her eyes.
<color=purple>"I'll be okay. My senses can figure out the displacement of masses, even ones that are behind walls or cloaked. The only thing I won't be able to see will be colors and brightness. In fact, this also lets me see in the dark."

 

[Zepherus14]

"So... if you can do all that, why am I listening then?" Sophia asked, feeling like her listening skills were a bit inferior to being able to sense all the mass around them.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Because I need a second hand. The farther away something is, the harder it is to sense the mass or distinguish its shape. So I need to make sure my senses aren't being fooled. If you concentrate on hearing, it'll help us discern what it is that's coming. Understand? More data points is better than one."

 

[Zepherus14]

"I guess that makes sense." Sophia answered back, pausing to listen around before continuing. "Maybe I should have looked around this place to see if they had any protective stuff. I don't really know where that one vest I had gotten before had gotten to." She commented on her attire and how it was a bit lacking for the objective of fighting robots.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

Gwen would likely pick up on Joel's large mass moving towards the carrier.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"I can find Joel's mass. He's quite heavy, so he's not hard to spot. But he's moving fast. Can you hear him as well? Close your eyes to concentrate on hearing." Gwen proceeded to move a bit faster in the direction of Joel.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Let me see." Sophia answered as she closed her eyes and listened for a moment. "Um... is he over that way?" She asked, listening to the one heavy set of footprints going down lower in the base. The mass itself would actually Zhanna, who was much slower than Joel was.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"That must be someone else. Listen for someone moving with fast footsteps. As if someone was running."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Look it's hard for me to discern who's who. Lots of people are running around, including whoever that was. I also have to cut out that white noise of that carrier." Sophia said as she continued to listen, picking up who she thought might be Medic and Alain.
