"Pretty sure I'm from the future too. I've never been to London before, but there aren't nearly enough hover cars or holographic stuff." Tyler replied.
<color=brown>"Well, I know what you mean by that. Although, our car could only go just above our manor. That was just a family car. There were other sports and commercial vehicles that could go much higher."
<color=brown>"We got here by time machine. And this isn't the first time we've travelled either. We didn't just come here for vacation. We're actually here to unhinge our timeline with the one we're presently in. Usually it's an anomaly that has to be eliminated. It's in this decade, and they've been known to have a habit of traveling. Once it's taken care of, our bodies will fall back to our original timeline."
"That's...kind confusing." Tyler said truthfully, not sure how the mechanics if time travel really worked. "So did you make your own time machine, or is that kind of thing pretty standard?"
<color=brown>"I wouldn't blame you if you thought it's something you wouldn't understand. But EMily is the one to talk to, she's one of my sisters and the best teacher of us all." She put down the weights, and cracked her knuckles. She took out a few breaths before continuing. <color=brown>"Our time machine is the first made by man. With my sister, Gwen, and her knowledge of space and time we began working with the top gravity scientists of our era to build one."
"...Gravity? What does that have to...eh, never mind. I provably wouldn't understand even if you tried explaining it." Tyler said as he leaned against the weight rack. "So I guess you didn't bring the rest if these folks with you? Are you locals?" He asked, mostly taking to Kenna.
<color=brown>"Nope, not a one of these guys came with us on our trip to this era. Seriously, talk to EMily, you won't be dissappointed." She said as she went off to work doing some squats on a safety mat.
"Pleased to meet you Joel. Though, I admit I wish it was under other circumstances." Húriel said with a slight smile, though it was hidden by her cowl. I can't stand having this cowl on any longer. I think taking it off wont gather too much attention in here. She first pulled the front of the cowl down, revealing the rest of her face, and a long scar down her left cheek. She then pulled the top back and shook her head to cool it off. She has brown hair, not much darker than her skin, but the most striking feature is the pointy ears sticking out on either side. She glanced at Joel to discern his reaction.
Joel looked at Húriel, his eyes drawn to the scar, then the ears. He didn't react much, as if that sort of thing was normal for him. "Likewise." he replied.
Sophia then came outside, and approached Winona and Matilda. "Hey, so we can get going now, sorry for the wait." Sophia said as she looked from one to the other. "So we're heading for the spa first, and then we can meander around and see what's nearby, right?"
Húriel noted at that Joel did not seem very surprised, and was about to comment on it when she saw that Kenna was looking at her. She calmly looked back, but didn't say anything.
Húriel frowned, slightly annoyed at Kenna's choice of words. "I suppose that's one way to put it. I am an elf, of the Dalish. What about you, then? You are clearly stronger than humans, yet you look like one."
