[color=003366]"What about unarmed?"[/color] Joel asked, wondering whether or not swordfighting in an alleyway would be a good idea.

Although unknown to Matilda, Winona would notice that Sophia wasn't very much amused by the trick that had been pulled on her, frowning notceably as Matilda tried to stifle her laugh. "That's not funny." Sophia eventually said after a long silence. The lights then changed as the walk sign appeared allowing them to go and cross the street. "Alright let's get going before it changes again." Sophia said as she looked around at the cars moving about and then started walking across the street.

 

[Kirke]

Húriel turned to Kenna and said, "Somehow I think the guardsmen wont be too happy if we fight in an alleyway."

"If it's unarmed, we can fight right here. Bound to be a ring or something."

Matilda had managed to stop laughing by the time the girls had crossed the street. [color=006d5b]"Sorry. I guess the joke only works if you're from Earth."[/color] she said.

"Is it like a pun or something then?" Sophia asked, feeling a bit better about the laughter, but still not super thrilled about it.

[color=006d5b]"No, it's just that Australia's dangerous wildlife is kinda well known. So we made up drop-bears to mess with people."[/color] Matilda explained. [color=006d5b]"It's pretty safe over there, in the cities."[/color]

Húriel nodded and grabbed her backpack. As she put it on, a muffled clanking could once again be heard. She looked around and in one corner of the room she spotted a boxing ring, which was slightly elevated. "I don't know about a ring, but that fenced square over there looks like it could do." - She said, pointing over at it.

"That is a ring..." Kenna corrected.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Except for the giant spiders, and magpies." Sophia added onto Matilda's explanation. "But I've never been there, so I'll have to take your word for it. Do you have anything in mind for the spa?" Sophia asked, having not heard Matilda's own experience with such a place.

[color=006d5b]"The magpies only dive-bomb you late in the year, and the spiders aren't common in cities. That sort of stuff is limited to the bush."[/color] Matilda replied. [color=006d5b]"I've never been to one before, so no."[/color]

Húriel glanced at Kenna and chuckled, "And a tree is made of stone. C'mon, let's get over there." - She did just that, walking over to the ring. To Joel she said, "Good question, and for that matter, who should meet who?"

"Don't they have those in Australia at least?" Sophia asked, wondering if there was a reason why Matilda hadn't ever been to one, or if was something similar to her own reason and never considered the spa as something to go to.

[color=006d5b]"Probably. I've never really had a reason to check."[/color] Matilda replied, before smiling. [color=006d5b]"At least it's something new to do."[/color]

"I'll go first. This is my turf." Kenna hopped over the ring ropes, making sure her gloves were secure.

Joel followed Kenna in and raised his fists. While Kenna secured her gloves, Joel shut his eyes and began focusing on his breathing. Kenna would notice the skin on Joel's right hand becoming grey. [color=003366]"Ready when you are."[/color] he said.

"We're bringing powers into this, huh?" Kenna remarked. "Lemme know if I go overboard." She slowly started to circle Joel, as if waiting for him to strike, but then leapt forward fist raised, trying to sock Joel in the jaw and secure the first blow.

[color=003366]"I'm just trying to not hurt myself. I think everyone else might freak out a little if you went all wolfy."[/color] Joel said, pointing at the people lifting weights nearby. When Kenna swung, Joel brought his right forearm to meet hers, blocking the blow. At the same time, he brought his left knee up towards Kenna's gut.

Kenna caught the knee strike with her right hand, stopping it. She then pushed off the knee and the arm, getting herself out of Joel's range and hoping to make him lose balance.

Joel brought his leg back down when Kenna stopped it, and swung a punch at her face with his left hand, while she was open.
