She made a small laugh at his boundless energy.
"I admire your eagerness. However blindingly spraying bullets will only work for your low level swarm. We're dealing with an enemy that's doing probing attacks. Such an attack suggests that they aren't going to go down easy. And do you run out of bullets?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

[sub]"That seems inneficent..."[/sub] Samus murmured lowly. She exited the ambulance when they arrived, the vehicle rocking slightly due to the sudden shift of weight.

OoC: Heads up, Heavy wouldn't know Samus is a girl until she speaks loud and clear or reveal her face.

Suddenly, Yorick and Seras found themselves abandoned and standing around awkwardly at a crime scene with nothing to do. Today was not turning out to be a good day.

 

[Slenn]

"Aye aye aye." She facepalmed.

"Anyways, I think I see the hospital up ahead."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus turned to heavy, depolarising her visor so Heavy could see her face. "Samus." She headed into the hospital.

 

[Slenn]

EMily helped unload the corpse from the van.
"I don't know if I'll be allowed into the autopsy room. But I'll follow as much as I can." She then followed the crew into the hospital.

Seras decided to walk up to a police officer and tried to interact with him.

The paramedics didn't let EMily in, however EMily would have a chance to try talking with a coroner.

The officer looked at Seras and asked, "How can I help?"

 

[Slenn]

She had Photon speak for her to the coroner as she typed in text.

Samus walked over to where EMily was, also intending to follow the body.

"I think I should be asking you that. Is there anything I can do to help? Has there been any more word of more attacks?" Seras asked.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Not yet, to my knowledge." the officer said.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Okay...could I get a ride back to my hotel?" Seras asked.

 

[Slenn]

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The officer nodded and led Seras to his car. He asked for the name of the hotel and, after she gave it, took Seras there.

[hr]

the coroner looked impressed.

...Yorick got into the cop car as well. The car ride was quite awkward. They both got out and went into the hotel.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"I have a scanning tool in my suit. When we arrived there, the light was flashing in Morse. SOS." Samus said matter-of-factly, relying on EMily to translate.

 

[Slenn]

EMily translated Samus' speech into Photon for her.

She said, showing the flat plates that act as x-ray detectors to collect information. She then opened up an image of the merwoman's head. She wanted to avoid saying she could emit x-rays herself, not wanting to cause a scare.

The coroner began examining the image.
