After six minutes and fourtyfive seconds of laying dormant, the bug ate its way out of the cocoon, and moved out of the tunnel after eating the rest of it. It emerged being being millimetres longer, and 1cm taller. It had become more green in colour where it was brown, and developed spots of a brighter green where it was green already. The most drastic change, however, was that it had grown a pair of insect wings, which buzzed while the bug crawled out of the tunnel.
Turning around, it took hold of the remains of the snake and pulled it out of the hole also, then ate the rest of it. After this, the bug ate a little more plant matter, then tried to fly. Wings buzzing loudly, the bug rose off the ground, but couldn't stay in one place, darting around uncontrollably and eventually ended up lodging itself inbetween bush branches. Clacking its mandibles in annoyance. Climbing down from the bush, it tried three more times, each with compareably poor results, before giving up and eating plant matter. After having eaten its fill, the bug dug a new hole where its first ate what roots were sticking out of the soil, then cocooned itself again.
Six more minutes passed until the bug emerged once more, having grown another 2 centimetres and five millimetres in length and height respectively. Once it crawled out of its hole, the bug first ate a few grams worth of leaves and grasses, then tried to fly again. After trying and failing twice, the bug made some improvement on the third try. Although it still couldn't stay in one place, it managed to fly in forwards relatively well, although it failed to move in a straight line, zig-zaging quite a bit, and when it came to steering around obstacles, it simply fell down. Clacking its mandibles a few times, the bug continued on foot for the time being, eating plant matter along the way.

All the while, EMily had been computing some stuff on Photon. The flash of light produced by the merwoman had its EM spectrum gathered by EMily's senses and decomposed on Photon. Using her own sense of EM waves, she had the light flash from the end of the gun and made sure that the spectrum matched what it was supposed to produce.
"I think I'm ready. Any more information about these creatures can be dispersed to the authorities."

Serene shrugged. [color=48CCCD]"Been sometime since that's happened, last time I could only use my arms to interact with the living world and anything that existed with it"[/color] She explained. [color=48CCCD]"Well most souls taste the same, only the souls of the Exotic or Evil taste any different"[/color]
Samus wasn't quite sure what to make of Serene, but she turned to EMily as she announced her discovery."Good. We are beginning to understand these creatures."
Serene laughed at EMily. [color=48CCCD]"Your get me a coat? that's so adorable!"[/color] After breathing in and out a few times, she calmed down. [color=48CCCD]"No no no don't worry about me and sunlight, but your only be able to see my as the cracked eye for a while. I'll return to normal when it gets dark again"[/color] Serene turned a gave wink to Samus. [color=48CCCD]"Although with your space gear, your probably be able to see me as I am now regardless"[/color]
Seras and Yorick had both decided to sleep as they waited for EMily and Samus to do there thing, so that's what they've been doing all this time.

"I don't have a visor that can do that, unfortunately." Samus replied to Serene completely seriously. She looked at EMily. "I agree. We should head back."
OOC: Okay, I'ma take over for a bit.
EMily headed to the counter at the front entrance of the hospital. She gathered the contact information for the autopsy on Photon. "Oh, 21st century phone lines... what a joy."
She hailed for a cab to take them to a clothing store and then to the hotel. EMily then remembered that Seras asked for a shirt. She got her a white shirt to reflect the visible light of the sun.
When they were done, they got to the hotel.

[color=48CCCD]"Oh you don't? well at least that massive cannon is good enough for protecting you then"[/color] She commented towards Samus.
Seras and Yorick would probably continue sleeping, unless they three ladies made a lot of noise or tried to wake them up.
