Finding the person had no scent, the bug became even more confused, going over baseless theories in head head that never went anywhere. When the person adressed it, the bug stood dead still, not pleased that it had been detected. With stealth out of the window, the bug thought on what to do for a moment, its first instinct being to run, but realising this wouldn't do it much good now that it had already been seen.

Deciding to make the most out of the situation, the bug clacked its mandibles as it walked further into the shop, where it stood still. Opening its three part mouth, the bug made something of a hackling noise, then closed its mouth again and lowered its head for a moment. Raising its head again, the bug made noises resembling coughing. The bug asked after coughing, speaking in Swahili. Its voice was alto in pitch, and had an extremely raspy tone to it.

The cyborgs fell to their knees from Gwen's grav field, the fallen rocket man and the nervous wreck pinned to the ground.

Vicky stabbed through the man's chest, though the blades did get stuck halfway in.

The combined fire finished off the shield weilder.

Gwen and EMily stood by, as it looked like everything was winding down. EMily was already searching for another radio source with Photon.

Vicky was dismayed to find her weapons stuck in what she was attempting to stab.

"Lousy pieces of junk..."

She growled. She tried to hoist up the cyborg by her stuck blades, hoping that gravity would help dislodge them. If that didn't work, then she would attempt to use the blades as handles and throw the cyborg towards the rest of his allies.

 

[Wackymon]

The sectoid proceded to launch another mindfray at the remaining rocket-wielder.

Engineer continued to have his mini-sentry down.

Medic began to heal as many people as he could with the Quick Fix.

 

[Chungus]

The bug nodded in response to the person, now having an easier time understanding them. Speaking itself, however, was still something of a problem. The bug opened its mouth, but nothing initially came out, there being a small pause between it opening its mouth and actually speaking. It added, the pause between its opening its mouth and speaing shorter.

Roland fired four rounds in quick succession at the remaining rocket trooper's head.

Tavish finally realized that he needed to activate the high frequency thing, and took a few moments to hit the switch.

The Sectoid and Roland caused the other rocket weilder to fall as well.

The one remaining cyborg that wasn't dead or broken struggled to stand, drawing his assault rifle, but a charged plasma shot from Samus put him back down.

Emily would find quite a bit of chatter about the group, mentioning shoring up defenses and deploying the more powerful units.

 

[Slenn]

"They're just warming up guys. More powerful and stronger units are being put as defense. Probably more of those giant piloted mechs."

<color=purple>"Then we'd best conserve our energy and not cool down just yet."

 

[Zepherus14]

"[small]That... was really fast.[/small]" Sophia stated as she approached the rest of the group that was with EMily and Gwen. If it was at all possible, Sophia might try and get her hands on one of the battlevests of the cyborgs if it wasn't completely destroyed, thinking Victoria's idea was pretty good. If it looked like it would take too long, she'd consider dragging the guy into the bush areas they'd previously been in to then take it off.

"Given how this has been going so far... doesn't surprise me much I guess really?" She commented on EMily's announcement of stronger troops.

Joel and Riko came out from behind cover and moved up with the rest of the group.

 

[Slenn]

"You hanging in there alright, Sophia?" EMily said, turning around. Her energy was high enough that she was making a sizable amount of blue glow. Purple glow for Gwen.

"Can you feel how far away they are with the amount of energy you have?" She said to Gwen.

<color=purple>"Let me see if I can find their masses." Gwen closed her eyes to see how far away the large masses were. If they were farther away, say 50 meters, she'd get a rougher idea of what it was. The larger the mass, the easier it would be to sense.

Vicky would eventually free her blades.

Sophia would be able to take an untouched security vest from the two cyborgs that were writhing on the ground, emotionally broken by the Sectoid. Samus walked up to one, examining him.

Having freed her weapons, Vicky sheathed them, then elected to go scrounge for some more blades, in the event that the ones she already had were to disappoint her again. While she was there, she finished off the still living but emotional broken cyborgs to the best of her ability.

"Ya, I'm alright. T-Thanks for asking." Sophia replied as she adjusted the armless glasses before she looked around the group before looking back to see about those vests. Seeing that one was easily takeable, she quickly snatched it up. "There isn't any electronic stuff in this, is there?" Sophia asked politely to EMily, raising the vest a little.

Samus helped Vicky finish off the broken cyborgs.

Emily would detect nothing electronic in the vests.

Gwen would detect a large mass heading straight for them at high speed. A small dust cloud was visible in the distance.

 

[Slenn]

"Nothing at all. Go ahead and wear it."

<color=purple>"We've got a big one coming our way. Take cover everyone and reload. We're gonna have to give this thing everything we've got." Gwen said, projecting her voice for everyone to hear. The sisters moved back to their original covers.

 

[Chungus]

The person's lack of a scent heavy on its mind, the bug wanted to ask about it, opening its mouth and trying to get the words out of its mouth, only to pause and considder this wasn't the most important thing to ask. Shaking its head a little, it instead asked, It decided on asking, while thinking on all the ways the local populace would be less then pleased by something appearing out of nowhere.

Engineer, seeing the mass, quickly set up his default sentry-gun, the Rescue Ranger at hand, before boxing it up for redeployment.
