"Thank you very much." Sophia said as she quickly clipped herself in, looking much more at ease. This however was shortlived as Gwen mentioned the possibly giant threat coming. "O-ok." She said as she quickly went towards the cover with Gwen and such.

Samus took cover.

As the mass got closer, it resolved into a shape. It was the squat mech from the attack in Syria, barrelling towards the group.

Roland reloaded his revolver and holstered it. He closed his eyes and began speaking to himself as the mech drew closer.

"[color=01A9DB]I do not aim with my hand. He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I aim with my eyes.
I do not shoot with my hand. He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I shoot with my mind... [/color]"

"Well that's more like it. These guys have been chumps so far."

Vicky didn't bother taking any cover, instead remaining in the open, seeing that the enemy was already aware of their presence.

Eventually the mech arrived, stopping in place. The cockpit opened, revealing a man with a blond buzz cut and dog tags, cybernetic from the neck down and fused into the great machine at his waist. He looked at Victoria. "Hello there ma'am! Tell your freinds to come on out for a second, will ya?" He had a loud voice with a distinct American accent, sounding like a drill sergeant. "I already know they're here, and I'd rather not have to destroy a whole block to find them. We can be reasonable."

Roland stopped what he was saying, keeping his hand on the holster of his revolver. He remained silent, staring into the eyes of the large cyborg.

Tavish drew his sword, this time remembering to turn it on.

Gwen and EMily remained in position until Victoria would say anything. They kept breathing in and out calmly.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah... I doubt that."

Vicky replied to the man. She'd have crossed her arms at this point in time, but seeing as how they were currently full of swords, she decided against it.

"How about this? You've got five seconds to give me one good reason why I shouldn't jump up there and pull you out of that thing just to see what will happen."

'Well so much for not being able to hide...' Sophia groaned as she remained in the brush for the moment.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Because we're fighting for freedom here!" the man replied, holding up his arms. "This place has been through a LOT because of tons of bigger countries fighting over it, so we're gonna set it free, let it strike out on its own!"

Vicky struggled to hold in a snicker at first, but gradual gave in, and eventually burst out into full on laughter. When she finally managed to calm down, she wiped a tear from her right eye and said,

"That is the best joke I have heard in a [i]long[/i] while... whew... But seriously, one good reason, tick tock."

"I just explained it to ya!" The man said, getting mad. "This whole city is built around a pipeline put here by someone bigger than them who's not sharing the wealth. We burn this place down, and the whole country is set free."

 

[Drakmorg]

"So, your plan is to 'set these people free' by killing them all? Yeah..."

Victoria left her sentence hanging as if she were about to pick it back up and say something else, but instead just immediately jumped towards the mech, attempting to land in the area where the man was connected.

EMily shook her head.
That's lame. Avoiding diplomacy to go into killing people and blowing up buildings. Because that's the obvious way out isn't it? Blow up a city where tons of resources are wiped out and nothing gets salvaged.

'What?' Sophia looked confused. 'They're saying their the good guys? That makes no sense though..?'

The cockpit snapped shut as Victoria jumped, and the mech raised a hand, swatting Victoria away. "If you don't know freedom, I don't expect you to understand our cause."His voice was angry, and the mech lifted it's chainsaw-headed axe. "But understand it or not, you'll die for it all the same!" He slammed the axe into the ground, shaking it and sending up a massive spike of asphalt.

Engineer just stared at him.
"Ya sure ya got that right? Ain't we got diplomats for a reason?" he said.

Medic nodded, staring at him.

The sectoid looked around for any ninja's he could make go insane.

 

[Slenn]

Already in the mode of fighting in a battle and taking in energy, EMily and Gwen's energy was pretty high, but still not enough to start up their QFT forms just yet. They'd have to wait about another round before their energy gets high enough.

EMily got from her cover and sent out a powerful EMP from her hands at the mech, unleashing the best war cry she could muster in the process.

Gwen slammed her hands into the ground, creating a gravity pull worth 10 g's on the axe to make it hard to pick up after it struck the ground.

'What do I do!?' Sophia thought as she stumbled slightly from the ax impact, as she started to run through the cover towards the backside of the mech. "Wait a second!" She announced as she kept going. 'There were two rocket things right?' Picturing it in her mind. "But only one actually went off."

Being on the opposite side to where the cyborgs from earlier were, Sophia would make her way behind the mech over to the other side and then to the cyborg guys that were still there. 'And if I get into trouble I have this then.' She thought as she raised the hand with the orb floating in it.
