"W-What?" Sophia stuttered, having trouble processing what Medic was trying to say.

Engineer nodded, pointing to the sentry.
"And if they do, they have that going for them."[hr]"Oh, just grab ze box Demoman has, I vill revive him later." he shouted at her, "And vould you mind teaching me how to do zhat magic? Vas most spectacular!"

Sophia still didn't follow what Medic was saying about reviving him, but the second comment really hit a sore spot with her. "I wouldn't dare, even if I could." She said quite sternly and hurt. The way she looked it seemed like she wasn't sure if she should go on ahead with the others or stay with the rest with the broken doge.

Medic shrugged, "I don't see vhy not, doesn't seem zhat bad."
He looked for a way to cross the river.

Roland started to walk off with Samus, but stopped after a few steps and approached Sophia. "[color=01A9DB]Sai, there was nothing more you could have done to save him. It was Ka. His death could not have been avoided.[/color]"

Medic's response only further rubbed salt in the wounds, given the obvious fire bomb that had literally just gone off without real warning Sophia nearly getting torched and accidentally hurting Samus, to write that all off as 'not that bad' was a grave understatement.

Roland's words however did seem to brighten Sophia's mood slightly. Although everything was still fresh and unpleasant, and Sophia still felt disheartened by it, the idea that 'you tried all that you could do' made Sophia feel a little bit better. "[small]Thanks Roland...[/small]" Sophia nodded slowly.

EMily and Gwen turned off their QFT forms, cooled themselves down, and continued along with the others. As standard for this mission, they kept up their sense of electronics and masses respectively.

The faceless person touched the phone's screen. After a second, they said,

You watch the star that is your friends on the horizon, and you realise it has dimmed slightly. A wailing weave of sorrow escapes your still undisciplined mind, reaching towards the troubled star.

OoC: I just now realised that the mental ...things... are not called waves, but weaves. How they work? Hell if I know!

As the faceless person touched the phone's screen, the bug cocked its head to the right, wondering what they were doing and what they were doing on it. As the person mentioned payment, the bug lowered its phone and was quiet for a moment. It hadn't thought this far ahead, only taking the job to assimilate some goodies without anyone caring.

" It eventually asked, not sure what it could even ask for.

After, the bug moved its thumb to the button to turn the phone off, but considdered it might be a good idea to delete the picture of a corpse first. Doing so, the bug turned the phone off after it finished, then put it back in its bag.

OoC: Fabrics, how do they work?

Sectoid could sense a cry of anguish, as he felt Shara's voice in it's head.
It slowly reached out a mental hand, to see if it could make contact.

"Oh. Vhell, looks like I hit a sore spot. Vhell, in relation to vhat some of my teamates have done, ze pain vas not zhat great, and scars can be made numb." he said.

The figure went into the back, and returned after a few seconds with a bag filled with money.

Samus and the others that walked past the plaza would find themselves on a rocky outcrop, overlooking an old oil refinery. It was hard to tell from here, but there seemed to be someone on the twisted catwalk that went around one of the large oil tanks.

Roland saw the figure on the catwalks and squinted as he tried to make out what it was.

Medic stared at the figure on the catwalk.

The sectoid continued as he looked at the figure.
