Joel began chasing Mistral, his increased mass allowing him to stay on his feet when the shockwave reached him.
Samus jumped from tanker to tanker, keeping the high ground, though at the cost of slowly falling behind.
Mistral ducked and weaved as she ran, dodging the Medic's crossbow bolts, then grinded down a pipe to ground level, picking up speed.
Gekkos swarmed around the group, one tackling Joel, another trying to grab Victoria from her right side, and a third that had an SMG in its hand taking popshots at EMily and Gwen.

Sophia had managed to scamper away from the immediate tower, although when it exploded, it easily launched her off her feet, making her hit the meshed grate hard, although the tac vet she'd gotten had helped absorb some of the landing. The blast had left a parting gift however, clutching her ears as she felt a sharp pain in them. The explosion being as loud as it was and how sensitive they were, they both were easily ruptured given the size of the tower they had been on.
Still lying on the ground as she clenched her ears, she managed to open one eye to see the fireball that had exploded, noting that these tanks were explosive she didn't want to stay here anymore, at all. She needed to get away, but her body had another idea and wanted to just sit there for the moment, feeling a mild bit of vertigo.

The sisters were already moving at a good speed with their boosts, so getting out of the way was a tight move but a good one.
EMily fired an industrial laser and swept it across the Gekkos.
Gwen created a gravity push against Mistral, at least 10 g's to slow her down.

Joel began heating up, with the heat being sent into the Gekko. If possible, he would also try to stab the Gekko with his sword.
Roland saw Sophia laying on the ground as he went to leave the factory. He grabbed her by the arm and tried to help her get to her feet and to the exit before any more cyborgs showed up.
Sophia would remain there for a while longer, slowly coming to terms with what happened and starting to get a feel for where she'd found herself given the panic before the explosion. Her ears were still ringing, and would more than likely remain ringing for a long while. She tried to pick her head off the ground eventually, but the mild vertigo made it difficult to do much more with her balance out of whack.
She saw Roland run up and as he grabbed her arm to try and pull her up, but it would become quite apparent she wasn't in shape to walk for the moment. "I-I think my ears burst!" She yelled rather loudly at him, even though it had gotten pretty quiet in the area.
Being only 5'4" Roland could probably piggy back her til they were in a more safer place, maybe then she'd be in better shape that she could try to heal some of the damage off.

Joel's Gekko popped like a firecracker from the heat. Vicky's was swiftly sliced in two. Emily's laser killed at least three of the little spheres.
Mistral was slowed by Gwen, but pressed onwards regardless. Samus fired a plasma shot at her, that hit her dead center, but it only made her try and run faster.

EMily fired up Photon Form, allowing electromagnetic quantum mechanical data to be at her use.

Roland didn't ear what Sophia said, since his own ears weren't faring much better than hers. Regardless, he picked her up and pulled her arms around his shoulders to carry her piggyback to the safety of the plaza where Engy and Bladewolf were currently at.
Roland was not that strong and was suffering from the explosion just like Sophia, but he still managed to carry her out of the refinery. He ignored his own pain and pushed forward, hardly even noticing that he was limping or breathing heavily. If Sophia's hearing got any better, she might notice him speaking to himself in between breaths.

Sophia although a slight bit surprised that Roland picked her up, she didn't resist him doing so. She would cling to him as they went just so she didn't fall off, feeling a bit tipsy. The ringing in her ears would slowly die down as they went, but her hearing at this point would have been crippled for the passing time. She did however note that as they went along Roland was saying something, his breathing pattern going into a rhythm as he continued to on, but she couldn't tell what.
She would also note later on that Roland wasn't moving how he should be either, the limp being fairly obvious, and slowly started to build up her resolve to go and heal him first once they were somewhere safer, not daring to interrupt Roland's almost meditative state.

Sophia would pay no mind to Engineer, not hearing him at all given her injuries. It was pretty surreal how quiet everything was however, it freaked Sophia out quite a bit, hoping it was only temporary.
Depending on how Roland reacted, she wouldn't notice Engineer herself.

Roland couldn't hear what the engineer was saying, so instead of going to the dispenser he sat Sophia down on a fallen pillar in the plaza before he collapsed to the ground from exhaustion.
