At his question to Dave going ignored, Caius groaned again, and stepped away from the seat.

Despite the greusome scene of the field of massacre being shown, Yeul displayed no signs of revulsion, or even shock, her expression largely looking as neutral as before she she was shown the footage, other then being more focused. "What of footprints? Did nothing show of that?" Yeul questioned. "Sophia walks barefooted, so then her prints would be left behind, were she to have waded through a bloodbath like the one pictured."

 

[Slenn]

"Indeed, Joel. We are in a race against the clock to prove her innocence on fair grounds."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Perhaps we should get an actual attorney then and go to court? You know in my experience simple solutions are usually the best."

 

[Drakmorg]

If anyone else was in the cargo bay, or were to meander over there for one reason or another, They'd see Vicky on the floor, using her anxious energy to perform sets of one-handed push-ups with her right arm, keeping her metal one planted on her back.

 

[Slenn]

Gwen and Winona got up from their nap and stretched.

<color=purple>"Nothing like a good nap on a spaceship. I miss our own ship though."

Winona shook her head rapidly and brushed her hair out of the way.

<color=green>"Maybe while we're waiting to go down we should work on some of our studies. I need to freshen up on the Bethe-Bloch formula for charged particles."
Gwen's eyes were half-lid but she smiled.
<color=purple>"Sounds like a good idea. I'll be sure to open a text for GR."

The two of them excused themselves from the cockpit and headed over to the kitchen to study, but not without informing EMily as to where they were going along the way.

 

[Kirke]

Several hours later, the ships set down on a desolate field in Colorado...

After going through your post-flight procedure, you go out of your ship and search it for the tracking beacon, telling Dave to scan the outside of his own ship. After half an hour of searching, you find it, deciding to let it stay until you are about to leave. Once you know where the beacon is, you step back inside your ship and take a well-deserved rest.

 

[Slenn]

During their flight the sisters had taken the liberty of tossing the posters out the airlock with Dave's permission of course. Hopefully they'd be somewhere stranded across the Atlantic Ocean.

The three sisters made a collective sigh as they landed. They stretched their arms and smiled at the sight of familiar territory.
And they moved to the exit of the ship.

For lack of anything better to do, Vicky had spent most of her time in the cargo bay performing various exercises and banging her head against the wall for the rest of the flight. After the space-craft had landed, she didn't see much reason to stop.

 

[Zepherus14]

Sophia had been in her room for the flight, stewing over what had been said. But as time passed, and she started to think a bit more clearly. Even if they were wrong about her dad, they had still protected her from the knights who would have otherwise given her a chronic case of lack of living. Victoria had even been there for her through the whole ordeal, and even made her a sandwich.

As the ship landed, Sophia decided to open up her door and go to see where they'd ended up this time, and maybe put the plate from the sandwich away in the process. As she stepped out, she saw the sisters make their way towards the exit, seeing them from the far side of the hall.

Upon hearing the continued bang sound, Sophia slowly walked over to look to see what was causing it. Seeing it was Victoria banging her head against the wall, Sophia stopped short, staring speechlessly as she watched before raising up a hand hesitantly and asking "What are you doing?"

 

[Chungus]

With no one going in on her suggestion, Yeul blew a sigh, and walked out of the cockpit with Caius, shaking her head. The two moved to the bedroom the two had claimed, where they talked amongst themselves for a while.

When the ship landed, Caius took hold of Yeul's shoulders to keep her from falling over, while he himself stood with spreaded legs to keep his balance. When the ship steatied out, Caius groaned softly and let go of Yeul, wishing it was anounced that the ship was going to land.

"What will we do now?" Yeul asked Caius as she left the bedroom.

"That would depend on what you understand under 'we'." Caius answered, following after Yeul, and heading for the action of the ship. "I would still seek clarification on things, although what I wish to know is changing.

First, let us head for civilisation. Come."

Leaving the ship with Yeul following, Caius looked around what direction civilisation was in, and would judge how far away it seemed it if was vissible.

Elm and Sam followed the group until they reached their destination and landed, maintianing the four kilometer distance all the while.

Once the group landed, Elm turned off the jet engine, but maintained the distance it and Sam were at.

[color=edc393]"Nice place. Very scenic."[/color] Sam commented idly as he looked around, unbuckling the seatbelt when the jet engine was turned off.

 

[Drakmorg]

"What does it look like?"

Victoria irritably responded, continually rhythmically beating her head against the wall without pause.

 

[Slenn]

"Let's see here." EMily said, summoning Photon again and displaying a 2D Map of where they were. "The closest city in this time period is in...." She took a moment "that direction."

OOC: It's up to anyone as to what city we're close by.

 

[Zepherus14]

(Anyone have a problem with Loma?)

"I know that." Sophia facepalmed a little. "But why are you doing that?" She said as she started walking over to Victoria to pull her away from the wall. "Stop, that's not helping."

 

[Chungus]

Seeing Cañon City not too far off from where the ships landed, Caius pointed to the direction. "There. It should not be too far of a walk." He said to Yeul, then lowered his arm and began heading towards the city.

Elm 'looked' at the group members moving outside as they left the ships, first turning towards the direction of Shara.

"What is that one doing?" Elm asked Sam.

Sam cocked his head, looking to Shara searching the ship for the tracking beacon. Zooming in on Shara five times, the maximum amount the integrated camera was capable of, Sam looked Shara over for a moment, then reported, [color=edc393]"It's the pilot of the second largest ship. Looks like she's... looking for something."[/color] After a pause, Sam shrugged with his single useable arm. [color=edc393]"Or something like that. I can't really tell from this distance."[/color]

"If it gets discovered, it will make things a lot more difficult." Elm stated, then looked to EMily, Caius and Yeul move around.

 

[Slenn]

The sisters went ahead and followed Caius and Yuel, eventually catching up to them. "The city's name is supposed to be Cañon City according to the database."

<color=green>"It'll be nice to stretch our legs after a long flight." Winona smiled, taking in a deep breath through her nose.

 

[Drakmorg]

"I handle all of my anger through violence."

Vicky reexplained to Sophia. She didn't make any effort to resist Sophia pulling her back, only sighing and rubbing her forehead.

 

[Chungus]

Hearing multiple footsteps approach, Caius looked over his shoulder to see who it was, looking back straight ahead once he saw it was the Mason sisters. He walked slowly to alow Yeul to keep up with him, this not making it very difficult to catch up for the sisters.

"What is it you all plan to do there?" He asked once the sisters did catch up, not addressing anyone in paticular.

[color=edc393]"Looks like the five of them are heading towards the city."[/color] Sam informed Elm, looking to them while still zoomed in.

"I'll bring you closer to the city, then head back here. That way, we can keep watch over what both groups are doing." Elm respond, moving the jet-bike towards the city, also, still keeping a four kilometer distance between itself and the group, and hovering a mile above the ground.

 

[Zepherus14]

"You're going to give yourself a concussion or worse if you keep doing that, what's the point in that?" Sophia asked.

 

[Drakmorg]

"I'm angry at myself. That's the point."

Victoria replied.

 

[Zepherus14]

"what would make you angry enough to make you want to give yourself head trauma?" Sophia asked back, not understanding how that was a good reason to hurt yourself over that badly.
