"So...the medical personnel aren't in charge of the medical supplies? And the guards are?" Seras asked, confused and surprised.

 

[Kirke]

The nurse said that using blood bags for anything other than medicinal purposes is a matter for the command staff, whom the guard can lead her to.

 

[Slenn]

"Thank you again. We will see you shortly."

 

[Outisakanobody]

Seras sighed and asked the guard to bring her to the command staff.

 

[Kirke]

The guard, after hearing the situation from the nurse, agreed to escort Seras to the command room.

Seras went with the guard. Why don't you just use those hypno powers to get the blood? Faro asked Seras over their mental link.

They probably wouldn't appreciate that. I don't want to make these people angry. Seras replied.

 

[Kirke]

The guard led Seras to a small conference room close to the main command room. Inside, she was asked to sit and told that the head doctor would arrive shortly. In the room, four more guards were already present.

Seras sat and tried to keep her nervous fidgeting to a minimum.

 

[Kirke]

After a few minutes, a slender woman in a labcoat and glasses entered the room. "Good day. You are Seras, correct? I am doctor Vahlen."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Hello doctor." Seras said with a small nod.

 

[Kirke]

"I understand you want access to our storage of blood. And that you are a... vampire. May I ask, where have you obtained your... nutrition, before?"

 

[Outisakanobody]

"In the past I relied on others donating their blood to me. Things have...well, that's not an option for the moment." Seras said. She wasn't stupid enough to admit hunting down humans, criminal or otherwise.

 

[Kirke]

"I see. Would other blood suffice? Perhaps pig, or cow? It is much easier to obtain, and does not carry the same social stigma."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"No. Unfortunately, it has to be human blood." Seras said as she shook her head.

 

[Kirke]

"Hm, curious. I shall see what I can do, but for now you must return to the barracks. These guards will escort you. Good day to you." With that, the doctor left the room and walked away. The guards then guided Seras back to the barracks.

Seras went to the barracks, a little frustrated at not even getting an answer.

 

[Slenn]

Winona, who wanted to make the best out of her breakfast, ended up making smiley faces on her porridge with spoon before eating it.

EMily and Sara were quite busy putting together the battle scenes and memories into something they would be able to present to the court.

[Kirke]

Soon, a knock was on the door again, and the group was escorted to the Skyranger, which was a little cramped. They were then transported to a military base somewhere in central Germany, where UNCETREM troops took over guard duty. These soldiers were much less comfortable around the group, and guns were often casually pointed in their general direction. They were then put aboard a larger military aircraft, which transported them to The Hague, in the Netherlands.

Samus said and did almost nothing as the group was transported, even having eaten in silence. As they got on their last transport, she closed her eyes, seeing to fall asleep where she stood.

Seras and Faro also stayed silent for the trip, really just wanting this to be over.
