[Arrogancy]

Rugal had started a full sprint to the Imperial Eagle. "Damn it!" Alek shouted, "Someone bring him down!" He angrily grabbed for the intercom, "Is the Tesla Cannon ready?" "We just got it back up." Joe said. "Good, charge it." That really should slow him down, Alek thought. Maybe even long enough to get in the kill. The Tesla Cannon crackled once more with boundless energy, and an arc of lightning flew out and struck Rugal.

Rugal sped past the barrage but was hit by the massive cannon.
He managed to go though it but at massive cast losing his hand
He fell on his knees and looked at the damage.
He then made his way under the walker.

"He's under the walker!" Shouted a Joe. The control room broke out in a panic. "Everyone!" Alek shouted, reasserting authority. "Lift the legs. Stomp on Rugal!" That got their attention, some began grinning as they got to positions.

 

[Random berk]

Dromaeus fired shot after shot into the pack of werewolves. Three fell, pierced fatally or crippled by arrows to the spine or hamstrings, but the pack was moving too fast to accurately target them. Just then Dromaeus was startled by massive crackling blast of the huge war machine's main weapon, and permitted himself a silent whoop of triumph as he saw Rugal hit the ground and slide to a halt beneath the walker.

As he did so, he he heard a series of ratchets and clicks on the roof of the building behind him. Looking back, he saw a line of men aiming firecasters down over the battlefield. Before he could move they opened fire, and then some unseen barrier was rippling in front of his face as the small pieces of metal struck it hard.

"Sons of whores!" Dromaeus snarled as he sprinted to find shelter, not wanting to test the endurance of the barrier.

I take it the shield is specifically so that I don't get taken out by the indiscriminate hail of bullets along with Rugal and the werewolves? Or am I in trouble regardless?

OOC: The Shield was so you don't get killed by the missiles. But Rude didn't know Joel was planning on betraying everyone this soon, so he thinks you're still an ally.

The pack leader told his wolves to stop attacking Rugal and slip away, he wasnt interested in them any longer but a large mass of humans had appeared on the roof. They were a good a target as any. Seeming to vanish from sight the Shadow Wolves began their new hunt.

Swiftrunner stopped his pack as he noticed Rugal was heading for the machine also. "Now is our -snarl- chance, DOUBLE PACE!" He bellowed back to his pack before setting off with a wild howl.

Preginald and his men saunter out of the base, "Well that takes care of everything in there, how's the situation out here lads?" Preginald heard a loud howl off in the distance. "Well, well, look who followed us here. You lot can handle Rugal, I've got some personal business to attend to."

As the wolves around the pack leader fell he snarled, he no longer had the numbers to kill those on the roof. He would have to retreat. He roared at the remaining wolf to speed up. He had to make his way back to the tower and regroup. Swiftrunner would be angry.

Swiftrunner ordered the werewolves to continue on and scale the legs of the giant machine, he had to double back. He sensed trouble and the wolves at the tower would need him so he headed back.

The legs of the walker came down, and Rugal avoided them without much difficulty. He was still in a better condition than Alek had anticipated "Can we get a shot on Rugal?" Alek asked, time was running out and if the weapon was destroyed, then all their progress might have been for naught. "No," Came the reply of the cannon operators, "Not for the heavy guns anyway. The undercarriage machine guns should be able to target him though." It was better than nothing. "They are given free leave to fire." If Rugal made it inside the walker, then things would get infinitely more complicated.

Finally, the forums are being really tempermental for me.

Rising from the corner where he had been working in the construct's engine room whilst the battle raged outside, Renlen held his new toy. Looping it's strap over his head, he christened the gun the 'Dimensional Breaker Rifle'. Made from his own design, he had built it using parts from the Barrett sniper rifle in the briefcase and M60 parts in the backpack. He had also used an energy chip and dimension drive from GS's core as well as one of the dull red orbs, those effect seemed to cause a hastening in his movements when concentrated on or when a current was sent through it. He had used the body of the sniper rifle and welded parts of the M60 such as the ammo feeder, grip and stock onto it. He had then created a small device, which he had wired to the gun's trigger and bullet chamber, using spare parts, the orb and parts from GS. Theoretically, the device would grant the bullet, when fired, the hastening effect whilst causing it to travel through various dimesional rips before it reached it's target. Basically, it would make the bullet go really fast and cause a huge mess when it hit someone. Renlen had also spent a better part of his time creating a chain of bullets which the M60's ammo feeder could use to fill the DBR automatically after each shot. He had then replaced the scope on the gun after he had finished building it. Now as he stood with his rifle hanging in front of him, he retrieved his revolver and fiveseven and knocked out the tranq rounds into his backpack. After reloading both guns with something slightly deadlier, he reholstered them before pulling three grenades from the backpack and pocketing them. Shouldering the backpack, Renlen then grabbed his briefcase and ordered GS to follow him as he headed for the construct's control room. Once in the control room, he left his briefcase and grasped the DBR as he headed for a ladder leading outside to a exterior platform. It was time Renlen joined the fight.

Damn, it took forever for this to post. Looking at the time, I can't stay on long now and I wanted to do teh epic stuffz... Well good thing I'm mostly free tomorrow. Edit: I've also Gone Gonzo.

Alastair jumped out of the hatch of the mech."AH" He shouted with a feeling of pain.
He had fell onto the ground near the mech. Alastair saw Rugal and charged to aid his freinds he had made on the beach. Renlen was defintley nearby. Alastair had seen the big bulk of a man and followed suit. The thing that gave away it was Renlen was the floating orb next to him. Alastair had seen a glowing gun in a troop's holster. It was his own gun. "excuse me, dont turn around where did you get that gun?" "Oh found it one the beach i did figure its mine no........" He was cut off by Alastair stabbing his back and ripping out his spleen.
"that gun was made by my father's father" he spat onto the corpse.

He caught up with renlen on the overhanging ledge. He had a rifle in his grasp. "Hello again my freind" Muttered Alastair when he approach his freind silently like a Jaguar.

Alastair saw a glimmer of hope in the man's eye's he was obiviously grinning smugly.
"If this is the weapon you have been working on its a fine one indeed!" Alastair hurried the last few words as he heard footsteps on the ladder leading to the Freind's vantage point.
"Il take care of them you do what you need to do" Alastair shouted before closing the hatch.

Renlen could hear nothing after 5 minutes had this man been killed? Indeed not when he opened the hatch and glared around blood streaming from his inscribed sword.

Dromaeus waited behind a large cargo vehicle designed for moving shipping containers until the barrage from the firing squad ceased. Then, leaning out of cover, he fired an arrow up at the line of Rugal's soldiers on the roof. It took one of them in the throat and he fell screaming to the concrete several stories below. Before they could react, Dromaeus shouted.

"YOL TOOR SHUL!!!". A jet of flame to rival any dragon blazed from his open jaws and washed over the line. He held the jet for two seconds before closing his jaws with a decisive 'clack' and ducked back into cover as the cracks of the fire casters resumed.

OOC: wat do you mean wats happened?

OOC: Jaguar, he means a whole lot just happened in your post, and not much of it made sense. How did you start out in the mech, and then suddenly fall out of it for no reason, yet somehow survive? Why did a soldier have the gun I took off of you, despite I having chucked it in the sea from the shore of the mainland, a good distance from this location? Why did he cheerfully tell you where he got it without even turning to see who you were, even in the middle of a battle when he was right beside his enemy's main weapon? And how did you get from there to whereever the hell Renlen is sniping from, all in apparently no time? That kind of thing.

Renlen groans, and through half closed eyes, see's only green.
Ah, awake at last I see. Don't worry, your not dead. Not yet at least.You are still needed. For now.
As the sound of a clock gradually fades, Renlen finds himself back on the beach, in the midst of the battle.
