'That was...odd.' Will thought as Alek suddenly started spouting off about his past and the war. Some things he recognised, and appreciate being remembered as "one of America's most innovative officers..." and for his march to the sea, but what was this talk of clankers? OOC: I think I do have someone figured out, here's the slightest hint: Disappear, Reappear, Fireball, fireball, Disappear, Reappear, Different fireball, transformation.
OOC: It's really unclear. The books are all set in Europe on the eve of World War I, the only thing that's really known about America is that they use both Darwinist and Clanker equipment, so I just ran with it and made a Leviathan American history.Outisakanobody said:

Somewhere far away, something was stirring, tremors shook the land, and an unbearable stigma of mass darkness soon overcame the area in which this occurrence was happening, a swirl of blood red clouds formed overhead and even though it could not be seen, at that moment an unbearable dread rang out from the epicenter of this unholy event. Something was very, very wrong, that much was true, but nothing could foretell the things that would soon be coming.
"I see..." Will said. That was some what troubling, but he was at least glad he hadn't left behind anything too important in his own time. But thought crumbled to dust as he thought of his wife 'Ellen' he thought, suddenly becoming quite forlorn.

OOC: Not sure if I'm playing up the drinking too much, but this guy was good friends with Grant, the infamous slosher that he was, and we are in a bar after all. Anyway this was fun. If stuff starts to happen and I don't seem to be responding feel free to wake Will up/drag him along if you can. He shouldn't be to hard to play as if push comes to shove either, so just be sensible about it ok. Thanks.

MEANWHILE, in the back of the bar everyone and their grandma was at right now, after their long and arduous battle, standing in a huge cloud of smock, playing pool, was a tall figure. He quickly snapped up and was shown to have been a shifty looking man with an enormous nose, teal skin, a mustache that was a sub-par Mario mustache. "Hark..." He said, breathing out a puff of smoke. "There are other patrons in the bar..." He looked swiftly towards them in his purple suit and pants, back and forth. "Hm..." He snuck around towards the exit and sniffed around a bit. Quickly, he noticed the clouds and the tremors of the earth that seemed to be generated from in the distance. "Hmm... I wonder..." He stood outside the bar and observed for a second.
Just hoppin on the crazy train.
The Merc looked up from his bottle. "GameBoy! I'll join ya on your job. I guess none of you even have a dollar, so I'll do it free of charge."

Joel was hurling rubble around left right and centre, looking for something, ANYTHING that would help him when he heard a violin. He turned and looked up at the source of the sounds. Alek. "Wow. He's good. I just hope... she... doesn't hear it."
Joel looked around, praying silently that Miranda didn't arrive and feed on Alek's sorrow.
"Joel, we've found something. A weapons cache. Plastic explosive, rifles you name it. No nuclear material though. Sorry."
"Then we'll have to hope that laser didn't use up all of the fuel rods."
