The Wayward Vagabond slowly opened his eyes. He found himself in a green room, with a window overlooking the planet below. The Vagabond's eyes widened with excitement as he beheld the various green objects in the room. He stood up, and walked to a green lamp sitting on a green table. Slowly, he picked up the lamp, and promptly ate it. He then ate every green object he could fit in his mouth, until he came to a bookcase, filled with green books. He launched himself at the bookcase, but just before he reached it, he was stopped, and suspended in mid-air.

Artie turned to Preginald. "Well, now you know why he's insane. You also should know to avoid Miranda. Joel can call on her whenever he wants, if he tries."

Reno and Rude were sitting in the Shinra Company factory looking around. "It's done. We can launch on your go."
"Well... we have another 'stop'. Then we're supposed to give you the go ahead." Rude explained before following Reno to the helicopter. "So where are we going this time?"
"The PDA says... Korolyov in Russia. And to take the plane." Reno turned sharply towards a plane.

I saw her get ripped open from the inside out, and she's still around. She's not really a ghost, per se. She's more like... Okay, when you turn off a computer, it's off, right? But it still uses a little power. Keeping little LEDs on, charging up, keeping it on standby... Miranda is like the little LED that's still on after you switch off your computer. She's still affecting the system, but she's not in the physical realm. She's pure spiritual energy. Joel manipulates that realm. Everyone is connected, like the Internet. When you die, your physical form dies, but not your spiritual one. I've lost you, haven't I? It's okay, there's a reason only about five people take this class."

"She didn't give her physical form up, she died in her sleep as a child. And all the people who take this class affect the physical world through the spiritual plane. For example," Artie focused on his desk plant, and made the leaves grow. "The difference is, she lives there. So she can affect things massively. That's why Joel is so strong."
Artie groaned. "Good. Because I seriously doubt it's actually Joel. You still don't know why he would bomb Wellington, or Shanghai."
Takashi perked up, having spoken to someone about this in the past. "From what I've learned about the spiritual plane; one's soul can only be struck with some sort of energy; things like ki, magic or even natural energies such as fire and electricity. Perhaps instead of attacking Miranda's physical body, we should try attacking her spiritual one?"
"So... about your base, the New Zealand army attacked it, William and Omega stopped them... but... there was something else..." Joe really didn't want to spill the beans but it was getting too close.
Eragon stirred at the mention of the fact that Joel and this Miranda were apparently unkillable. "With regards to how to beat them, granted I can't find his or Miranda's true name, I have an increadably dangerous and powerful spell that will destroy them." Eragon said to the group. He really didn't want to destroy somebody who may know where Saphira is. He wondered if Artemis, who had just manipulated a plant to grow, knew anything about her.
