Looking sternly at Joel, Eragon continued. "Personality, morals, past and now I know your motive: Misery." Eragon thought he was close to Joel's true name, he had analysed everything about Joel and begun figuring it out, he just needed to fight him to finally fully understand him. "I ask again, will you fight me Garm? What happens now is of little consequance if you claim to have already won."
To both his companions minds he said "I need to fight him to understand him and guess his true name, if I guess that then this is all over, if things go bad however I probably could do with some help...without Saphira I'm not as formidable as usual."

Joel looked around worriedly. "Why defeat the only man who can stop himself? And why fight when you have lost?"
Takashi grunted as he seemed to have been ignored. He moved between Eragon and Joel.
"Hold on a moment. Let... Let me fight him." He said

"What? Get out of the way kid! You haven't even got a weapon." Will said as he adjusted himself to keep Joel in his sights.
In response, Takashi drew his trench knives then looked at Joel. "So far you've not done much to prove why we shouldn't kill you. But I have a feeling something else is working here. Fight me and let me see what's going on here."
"Win or lose, honour must be satisfied Reona, I usually don't strike first but if you refuse to fight then you leave me no choice" Eragon clenched his sword, the tension was killing him, he just wanted the fight to start. "I fight for the honour of those unjustly slain by your hand and for all those you may kill in the future should you live past this day."
Joe walks into the shop, looking at the TV, there was a well dressed man talking at a podium. "My Fellow Americans..."
"Um I'm pretty sure your not addressing Canada or Mexico with that..." Joe whispered under his breath.
Joe went to jump into the tv, but the rabid image changing stopped him from jumping through.
"What the?!" Joe exclaimed getting knocked back.

A dark shape approached Eragon from behind. Similar to joel, but female and more feral.

"All right fine! You all want a god damn sword fight we'll have a god damn sword fight!" Will said as he put his rifle away. Drawing his saber he approached Joel, making sure to keep his free hand on his Colt just in case.
As Eragon hit the floor he quickly shouted "Jierda" and the creatures teeth shattered. He rose quickly to face his attacker and then murmured "so be it and swung for the creature with Brisingr.
Joe put his hands up to the tv screen. He felt the different images flashing before him. "What is this!?" He had seen the TV before, but never realized what it contained. Turning to the man at the counter Joe shouted. "Make the images stop!!"
The man was horrified, he had witnessed the power of the Joes lifting the candy shop, he didn't want to make the stickman mad. "Y-yes, j-just a second!!" He fumbled for the remote, hitting the pause button.
Looking back Joe said. "Much better!" Joe jumps into the tv, appearing moments later in front of the entire world...

Mat sighed, these people were going to get themselves killed, and he'd have to be the one to save them, just like with everyone bloody one else. And they probably won't thank him either. Mat slowly began moving around the edge of the room. He'd need to find a position to bring Joel down. One quick, clean strike.

"Oh... I'm Joe, so about this whole nuke/bombing crisis thingy. Ya we need to talk about that." Joe takes a couple of steps forward, only to have the entirety of the secret service on top of him.
"Gentlemen, please I'm trying to have a conversation here..." Joe looks at the faces of the secret service, not an emotion in sight. Joe twists disappearing from the view of everyone, and simply walks over to the President.
"So if you would be so kind, Mr. President, I would mind if my Creator wasn't blown up in a full nuke war. So I would appreciate talking with you in private."
As Joe finished, the Secret Service whisk the President away to a safe disclosed location, as Joe follows along listening to the entire conversation on the way.
