Takashi saw Ezio leave and went to follow him. He caught up with him in a moment, but remained silent, realizing that with the merc dead, he had no one to translate for him. He sighed and just watched Ezio as they walked.

Dromaeus, who had been brooding for some time, suddenly perked up.
"I have been thinking about Joel's plan to start a nuclear war." He said to the others. "It is all well and good if we find him, but if what he says is true, then we cannot just kill him. We need a way to make him stop his machinations himself. I may have an idea on how to do that." He looked around.

Alastair aprroached Ezio from behind. "Hey, Ezio your in a diffrent time now must things will appear diffrent. Look out" Alastair whispered into Ezio's ear. In a second Ezio was mugged. Alastair stepped in front of the mugger. "Excuse me sir look at this chainsaw." And with one clesn cut. The Mugger fell to the floor. Alastair held out a hand to Ezio. "You need our help." He said indicating Takashi.
Ezio snatched his coinpurse back. "In my world, we have things called subtlety and stealth. You should read up on them. Or..." Ezio saw an alleyway, and another man hiding in it. He walked past, and the man stepped out. Ezio pierced his stomach with a hidden blade, and rejoined the group before anyone noticed.

Smoke grenades started spraying. SWAT officers surrounded the doors and windows. All of the citizens lay on the ground. The lights started to flicker, and eventually died. The whole grid went dark. Night vision goggles switched on. Rifles raised.
"Cazzo!" Ezio cursed. He closed his eyes and activated his Eagle Vision.
"Everybody with a gun to their head, you're under arrest." Harrower said. Each of them had a gun to their skulls. "You are surrounded. Do not run. Do not resist."

Alastair turned to see his attckers before resting on the ground. Everyone else doing the same.

Takashi raised his hands, despite not being able to understand most of what was said. However, he closed his eyes and began to 'free his mind' as his teacher would say it. Everything seemed to move at a standstill and Takashi wasted no time moving.

Takashi turned to see the swat officer. His head was still burning from using focus, which meant he couldn't move in without being shot. He realized he still had his pistol, but wasn't sure if he wanted to try his hand at gunfighting against someone who was trained for it.

Dromaeus dropped to the ground as soon as the lights went off, drawing his sword and dagger. He began to tear through the soldiers just as he had done at the police station. Between himself and Takashi, the Swat team was decimated. He watched the officer chase Takashi out of the building, and began to stalk him.

Ezio followed Dromaeus out of the shop, killing any other SWAT officers. One was aiming his gun at the child. He sprinted, jumped, and kicked him to the ground, ramming his hidden blade into the officer's jugular.
Dromaeus stopped dead and watched in amazement as Ezio leapt right over him like a gazelle, and struck down the officer. He straightened up and glanced around for any more enemies before approaching Ezio.

Takashi nodded to Ezio. "Arigato." Then looked around at the pile of bodies. He couldn't help the sense of guilt, wondering if these men even knew why they were hunting them. He shook it off and began to run back into the coffee shop to grab Eragon, motioning the others to follow him.
"Dromaeus of Black Marsh. Thief, master assa... ah. Isn't that funny? Well, also the Dragonborn and slayer of the dragon Alduin. At your service."

Ezio found the detonation mechanism, triggered it, and threw the grenade down an alley. Rubber balls blasted out and bounced along the walls. "Could be useful..." he said, entering the shop and looting more grenades.

During the battle with Rugal, they disappeared into his fortress heading for the portal room, and then Joel returned without him. It is possible that the khajiit was killed in there... but I am not convinced. If Joe were here, and I do not know where he has gotten to, then he could jump through one of his own portals to search for the khajiit and bring him back. Perhaps we could use him as a hostage, and demand that Joel end his plans."
