As he ran he checked his back for the Merc's sword which he had had taken from his body. The jewel he had set in it was still there and Glaedr had begun funneling power into it.

The figure in white watched the battle unfold, and sprinted for the door. A group of people moved to the exit, and he drew his dagger.

Eragon saw the cloaked figure before him as he tried to leave. "Stand aside." He said not breaking his stride as he approached the door.

"Are you working with the wolf?" he asked, raising the knife.

Eragon stopped in his tracks and said "No we fight against him." He drew Brisingr in case Ezio tried to do anything. "I ask again that you step aside Ezio Auditore di Firenze."

"I see my reputation precedes me, even in this strange land... I have no problem with you. I myself have been tracking the wolf. He came in a black carriage, killed the driver, then left in it." Ezio said.

That was information he could use. He put Brisngr away and said "So you have an idea of where he went?" Eragon asked.

Ezio sheathed the dagger. "He headed that way, but the vehicle was faster than anything I've seen." he said, pointing towards the building Joel had been hiding in.

"Ezio come on!" Alastair said. He stopped in a shudder. "Who is this man?" Alastair questioned. Alastair had heard of this man from a local american. "Dude, itotally passed this level with ezio in it." A geek had said. "Realy what does he look like?" And sure enough this matched the description.

Eragon elected to search the buliding first, then take off after Joel. "Thank you Ezio, I am Eragon Shadeslayer and it is good to know there are yet more who oppose Joel." He ran past Ezio fast as a cheetah and entered the building and begum searching it from top to bottom for any clue as to where Joel had gone.

Ezio sprinted after him. "The vehicle is gone... he must have escaped." he muttered.

Joel watched the live webcam feed on his phone. Eragon burst into the room he'd been in. "ERAGON! Good to see you. You're getting closer, but I'm sorry. I left you a piece of paper with my next location. And I also put in a bomb. You have a minute until the apartment explodes."

Alastair followed Eragon, He was not going to let him go alone. They searched high and low and couldn't find anything. "He's ditched this place." Alastair said. "No. He has not." Eragon said.

Eragon picked up the piece of paper and walked past the screen with Joel on, he raised his hand and said "Thrysta" and the screen collapsed in on itself. He approached a window and leapt gracefully out of it landing as the building exploded. His wards deflected the shrapnel and mortar flung at him as he examined the piece of paper. He looked over at Ezio and Alistair he held up the piece of paper and said. "I've got him but its obviously another trap yet we have no choice but to spring it."

"Woah he's there. How we gonna get there. Preginalds hover bus has barley any fuel." Alastair said as he steadyed his helmet.

Joel watched Eragon leave and the explosion. "Harrower, Simmons, a group of people are heading to your position. They are responsible for the bombings."
"Copy. Thank you sir." Harrower replied.
Joel turned to the construct before him. "You. Is it operational?"
"Uh, theoretically yes. We just need a frequency and a massive power source."
"Here's the frequency. Use the New York power grid." Joel said, handing a piece of paper to the scientist. I wonder what Rugal used...

OOC: the next building is a coffee shop three streets away by the way.

"Is there another way to get to Joel? Refueling the bus will probably take too long." Takashi muttered.

Ezio looked at the address. "The writing... I think I saw these names on one of the signs. This is nearby. Right around the corner."

Mat wished he could Travel like Rand. The ability made the man bloody insufferable, coming into a man's room like he owned it, but it was extremely useful when they needed to travel fast. "I don't suppose you can Travel, Eragon?" Mat asked. Eragon might be going mad, but it might just be worth it if they could move more quickly.

OOC: I'm going to work soon so I'm not sure what I can do to keep Eragon in the plot depending on what stuff is like when I get back.

"I can run faster than humans so I could make it there in barely any time. If you follow me I should have cleared the area by the time you get there and I should have found out where Joel is." Eragon said as he got ready to run.

Ezio watched the men bicker. "You discuss transport. I will be running there. Or walking." he said, turning and walking down the street. He turned at the third corner and continued walking. "Mi scusi, can you point me to this address?" he said to a crowd of people, showing them the numbers he'd scrawled down.
"Yeah, that's the coffee shop just near here. We're heading there now, follow us." one said.
"Grazie." Ezio said. If it is a trap, I think I will sufficiently blend in. he thought, looking at the crowd of hooded jumpers around him.
