Hello again, Mr. Cauthon." she said, when the conversation paused. To the man in military uniform, she said
"Thought I saw you earlier, you were in a bookshop when I met this group at first. Sorry for intruding, but your face looks very familiar."

Joe just stood there, staring at the ship, still in the vision of the others, Joe still held Omega in his hands.

As Travis finished pinching himself for the fifth time to ensure that he was indeed awake, he decided to go over to the group and introduce himself to the new arrivals. As he walked over he saw Joe enraptured by the shuttle. "Yeah I know the shuttle's cool and all stickman, but maybe we should meet up with the group." Travis turned Joe around and walked over to the group.

"I suppose not, uh, sorry I don't know your name." Will said to the man in armor. Seeing a women in armor walk up to him Will turned his attention to her. He gave he companion a curious glance, but it hardly phased him anymore. "I'm not surprised Mame. It seems this world is not so different from mine. It may even be the very same, just much further ahead in time. I am General William Tecumseh Sherman." he replied to her comment.

"Hey you're that... light... saber gu~ WHERE DID MINE GO!?" Joe shouts as he sees Travis.

A hole far passed the asphalt had been dug by the green sword, almost hitting a gas pipe.

"There you are!" Joe grabbed the sword, smashing it in his grip.

Shepard smiled as the General revealed his name. She knew she had seen him somewhere before.

"Ah, of course. I've read about your career when I studied at West Point. (Not where Shepard trained, but I can't remember the proper name.) I couldn't put a face to the name though. You had quite an interesting story." She offered her hand. "Commander Kate Shepard of the Earth Alliance navy, and Spectre of the Galactic Council."

"Ah, a navy officer. Pleased to meet you." Will said as he gave her a salute. 'So they're letting women into the military now? Eh, why not.' he thought.

Joe walks with Travis. "So Mr. The Light Saber Guy? What is your real name? And have you seen a space ship around here?"

Shepard returned the salute.

"Yes, they are." She said in response to his question. "For just over 200 years, in my timeline. It was decided that women could do any relevant job as well as any man."

Eragon finished moving over the dead bodies before saying to Will "I am aware of the customs of my hometown, Carvahall and of the dwarven religion. I have considered the elves logical appraoch but don't fully agree with that either...no." He cast his hand over the field of dead people "any wasted life is a horrible thing but on the battlefield one must be ready to take a life if they wish to save another." Shepard had returned and now had several companions with her. Eragon gave them a quick glance before returning to his thoughts.

Addressing Joe's questions, "Travis Touchdown. Top Ranked Assassin in the world. I'm surprised you haven't heard of me. And are you joking about the spaceship? You just spent nearly half-an-hour looking at the damn thing.

OOC: Well actually I thought that part about the girls in the military...but what ever.

Will watched the man in armor walk away. "No one likes the officer." he said mostly to himself.

"I've never understood why someone would study war." Mat said, "It only invites trouble." Some might say that was hypocritical of him. After all, Mat not only commanded a growing army back home, but across all his memories, even his own ones, he had studied the ways of war. However, all Mat had gotten from all that study was trouble. Trouble and war.

Shepard grinned to herself at the attitude of the man in the ridiculously hefty armour. She wondered how many real battles he'd personally fought in.

"Knowing how your enemy might act on the battlefield, and how to respond to those actions is important." she said as Mat spoke. "Anything that can protect the lives of your soldiers while allowing them to do their job is."

"I was?! I don't remember looking at it. Where is...i~..." Joe looked behind them seeing the ship, but Omega subconsciously slapped Joe. Joe's head was tilted back forward. "I would definitely remember seeing something like a space ship!"
