Joe and the gang burst into the cargo bay, Joe quickly writes Shepard a note, grabs Will's weapons from one of the supply closets, and waits a second to let Will and Mat catch their breath before they get back to in front of the candy shop.

OoC: I'm off to bed.. I'm tired... Insert any dialogue and stuff you want for the trip back.

"I think I need a rest after all that." Will says as he wonders off to do jus that.

The Wayward Vagabond stands in one of the ruined rooms of the library, his search for (edable) green objects fruitless. Looking around to check no one can see him, he slips a hand inside his rags. It emerges holding the prototyping ring, it's four orbs crackling with energy. For a time he looks at it, watching the small tenderals of energy dance along his carapace. He eventually moves over to the nearest bookcase, the tomes it held burned beyond the point of being legable. WV opens one of the books, and places it inside, before returning the book to the shelf. He exits the room, leaving a very small needle in a very big haystack.

OOC: Arrogancy your villain could actually enlist the Chaos Space Marines it just all depends on which legion there from which Jaguar has neglected to tell us. Chaos Space Marines care only for power, battle and glory offer them any of these and they will serve but if one feels he could do a better job than you he will challenge you for right to be 'Champion'. As for weaponry Chaos marines are equipped with older pattern Bolters that have been twisted by the warp same with their armour (Most are wearing mark 3 or 4 compared to a loyalist mark 7) Ill try and fins a picture but I'm not sure if I remember how to embbed.

The Mako fired its thrusters and rose into the air, where the Normandy swept down and picked it up. A mass effect field in the cargo bay door slowed the tank's momentum relative to the Normandy, and it rolled into the cargo bay, braking hard and stopping clear of the opposite wall. Shepard climbed out and was immediately approached by one of the crew.

"Something came on board again Commander. It left this for you." Shepard accepted the note that he handed her and read it.

"So they've already gotten back to Earth without us? Huh."

A hole in reality shaped like PM appears near the team on earth. Moments latter WB and Jack tumble through.
"Uh, remind me never to that again." Jack says clutching his head.

 

[Arrogancy]

OOC: He won't necessarily recruit them, he will, however, situate himself nearby and entangle himself with them, corrupting them more and more until eventually they are so horrendously corrupt that they only accept his authority. However, that said if that doesn't work then he is more than powerful enough to force them into following him.

"Alright I'm going to central park to drop off Eragon and Saphira, hopefully they wouldn't be too mad at me." Joe walks over in the direction of central park.

As Joe approaches the park, he could hear the sounds of gunfire and explosions and people screaming. He also finds a hooded man who approaches him.

"You, the city is being besieged by a group of three men who are demons in disguise. You must go help by destroying these demons."

OOC: The Normandy can probably take care of a lot of it, but what the hell. I'll have her go down again and see what happens. Hmm... who to bring...

Shepard took a short rest to shower and eat, then went back to the Hammerhead. She grabbed Samara as she approached the cargo bay. Inside, she found Jack, sitting on a container, looking agitated.
"Strange to see you out of your den, Jack."
"I'm bored out of my skull. And I haven't been to Earth before. From what I've heard, you've been having somme fun down there, and I want in."

OOC: Corrupt a chaos marine even further? Why not. Chaos corrupts, controls and subverts the minds of mortals. As soon as Jaguar reveals their legion then I can characterise them even further. Or I'll just select one but if we do come into contact with them I'll probably control them anyway since I know Chaos. THose ones you posted Trilby are Possessed marines who willingly allow demons to inhabit and warp their bodies.

Before long, the Normandy had returned to its original altitude in earth's orbit, and the Hammerhead was on its way. 15 minutes passed, and the shuttle came down to ground level to find a landing zone.

 

[Arrogancy]

OOC: Padan Fain is corruption incarnate. He's literally almost pure evil, capable of devastating and ravaging someone to their very soul. He is very, very powerful.

Meanwhile

Escotto (see avi) stumbled about in a drunken haze as the Chaos Marines desperately tried to get a lock on him, but their bolts and other weapons would only whiz by as the young skater would either fall, stumble or suddenly bound out of the way. However, his sword strokes did little against their armor and the ice sword eventually broke against their armor.

Antonio and Shingo meanwhile worked on getting any pedestrians out of the way.

"Come on, old man, hurry about with that shield!" Antonio shouted.

"You musn't rush, Antonio." Shingo calmly said as he went through hand seals until a gold, glowing shield form around him, Antonio and a good twenty feet of the area, absorbing the bolts and lazers harmlessly.

 

[Random berk]

"Christ, what the hell is going on down here?" the pilot said. Shepard brought up a live feed of the ground on the displays in the passenger cabin.
"They look kind of like one of the members of our group." She said. "They're attacking people completely at random. Shit, we've got to get down there."
The shuttle came to a halt about 12 feet off the ground, and Shepard and her squadmates bailed out before it flew off again. They readied their weapons and started firing at the Chaos marines, their thick armour no match for the mass accelerator weapons.
