All the evidence, both the stuff that Kappa falsified, and the overwhelming evidence of all the stuff that Alastair actually did, is enough for Shepard to damn him. I was going to have her show Alastair mercy, based on the fact that he was attacking Upsilon in disguise, but he's done enough, he had no proof that it was Upsilon at the time, and he's pissed me off enough not to bother with that now.

Inaeun had heard plenty of what had happened and kept listening intently. This planet was tainted by Chaos and Inaeus could feel the corruption of the warp. He shivered in fear nad revulsion. The Great Enemy was here also and those in the building had something to do with it. This needed reporting immedietly to Warlock Xanis. He sent the report via ear-piece. He felt it was urgent enough not to incript and broadcast the following message to the helmet-link of Xanis "Khaine laughs as Eldanesh falls" The agreed upon code to use in case of Chaos involvment.
Xanis instantly recieved the message and tensed all over. Things were worse than he foresaw. He pointed to the two Howling Banshees as they finished the right of battle and gestured for them to come with him. He drew upon his powers to cast the conceal physcic power to mask their approach as he left with the two lithe warriors in tow.

This right here is why. Power armour is pretty much fused to an external layer of synthetic armour grafted onto the flesh called the Black Carapace. As Alistair is not geneticaly modified due to being from vanilla warhammer he should never have been able to put it on anyway. This also makes it practically impossible to remove without killing the wearer. Once in power armour Space Marines can only remove their helmets.

Warlock Xanis arrives and links up with Inaeun. With a nod the Ranger acknowledges the Warlock. "Take a position from a high vantage point Inaeun." With that the Ranger faded into the shadows to climb to a proper sniper spot. Looking at the two banshees that flanked him Xanis said "With me, Liliath and Liala." They nodded their agreement. Liliath held an Executioner weapon: a double ended halberd with two blades at either end sheathed in physcic energy. Liala wielded a pair of Mirror Swords coated in the same field. Xanis entered the building, ending his concealment as he did so and the Banshees silently followed. The only sound was Xanis spear as it clacked of the floor every two steps due to the warlock holding in the manner of a walking staff.
Alastair sat still in his chair and made note of Shepards speech. "62." He noted in his head. After the trial was over Alastair walked out of the room and got into the speeder before being stopped by all the Delta's.
