OOC: As much as I rather don't want to just retcon William's burial, I think I'm going to have to retcon his burial...
Joe got up from the impact, the house shook as Joe stumbled up and looked out the window.

Xanis sneered at Mardek, twisting the Spear and tearing it from is arm as they came under sporadic fire. His forces were tired and did not have the initiative. "Back to the Webway, Ulthwe is to be warned of the situation." With that the Eldar fled from the area back tot eh Shroud field dissapearing from view as they did. Xanis stopped as he passed the husk of the Wraithguard and retrieved the spirit stone from it before moving to catch up with the Eldar.
Draug assembled the Guardians to move to Xanis' location once the ship landed. He had recieved a comm earlier that proclaimed that he wished to assemble a council of war.

Draug did not respond to Shepard's demand, and so she brushed past him and went to the elevator. Once she was alone inside it, she said;
"EDI, run a thorough scan of the ship. Search for any systems or devices that were not in place before the Normandy crashed. I want to know about any unwelcome additions the Eldar have made."
"Yes, Commander." Back in the CIC, Shepard made for the bridge and ordered the Helmsman to land. He did so, and Shepard went back to meet Jack and Grunt, who went with her out through the airlock.

Shepard, Grunt and Jack stepped out into te chaotic battlefield that had once been an area of great natural beauty, and readied their weapons. Shepard had picked up one of the most powerful weapons in their armoury, the reverse engineered Collector particle beam, and they began to advance, with the deadly weapon ready to incinerate anything that attacked them.

OOC: battles over mardek is on the battlefield with whatevers left of his men and there's a 54.6 meter tall robot standing nearby
