As Joe heard Shepard's words, a few tears started to form, but he quickly rubbed it away. As serious look came over his face. "I need to show you something..." he said in a monotone solemn voice, as he started to walk out the door.

Shepard glanced over at the cat, then back to Joe.
"Lost a friend? Joe, what's he talking about?" she said as she began to follow him.

Joe finally climbed up to the top of a far hill with a single tree, and a grave.
He stood there looking as the others followed up behind him, rubbing his face again to wipe away any tears.

Shepard reached the grave just behind Joe. By that point, she already knew exactly what she was going to find, but it was still a shock to see Will's name carved into the simple headstone. She sank to one knee, bowing her head, and said nothing. Grunt and Jack arrived, and saw the headstone as well.
"He was as great a warrior as Kredak, Shiagur, or any of the Krogan warlords." Grunt growled. "The blood of a thousand enemies will soak the earth in which he lies." Shepard nodded.
"He was a great man. I'm glad to have had the chance to meet him, even if it was for a short time." She stood and turned to Joe, laying a comforting hand on his narrow shoulder.
"I'm sorry Joe. I know that you two were close."

Vincent turned, and walked back into the house. On the second floor, in a room facing the hill, he found a piano with some sheet music lying out. He began playing the song, loud enough for it to be heard at the grave faintly.
Xanis arrived at the stationary Normandy and waited by an entrance. "Your commander requested an audience, I am here to oblige." Xanis said across a comm channel to the ship.

She continued to observe the mourning from afar from her perch. Her brightly coloured suit impossible to hide as she walked gracefully over to the melancholy group.

So Joe told them of the nightmare he faced the day before. How he had only gone to Preginald to teach him about attacking him with the red dots of doom, and how he found Will.
"Something was wrong, it was like he was relieved to see me. I didn't understand, but Preginald had captured all the refugees from New York and was going to turn them into robots."

Garrus, who served as XO of the Normandy in Shepard's absence, appeared at the airlock and looked out over the Eldar
"Shepard went North about half an hour ago." He said. "I'll contact her for you." He did so, and on hearing what he had to say, Shepard stiffened.
"Offer to bring them to our co ordinates on the ship. Act casual. But be careful Garrus, I think they may have sabotaged the ship. Keep an eye on them. Be ready for anything." AS he listened, Garrus remained calm, except for a small twitch of his mandibles. He returned his attention to the Eldar.
"I've been instructed to allow you passage on the Normandy, to take you to the Commander's position." he said.

"Jesus... thats horrible. Worse than the Geth even. Don't worry, we'll stop him."

"Regardless of what I shouted at Preginald, he wouldn't listen. So I tried to get to Will, but Preginald shot me in my right arm. I was able to repair it by drawing over the hole, but then a large robot flung me across the room away from Will."

Vincent noticed the Harlequin, and leapt at it, drawing Cerberus. "Who are you? Why are you spying on them?" he asked, landing softly by the Harlequin.
OOC: I'm back so i'll say that Ratsel is just getting out of his mech to eliminate any confusion from the narrative

The Harlequin stopped before Vincent and bowed, her Power Sword was sheathed on her back. "I am but a humble sevant of the Laughing God." She said as she stood back up and resumed walking towards the grave. "I come to give peace to those who weep like Isha." She said
Joe was interupted from his story seeing the jester/clown thing. "YOU!!"
He started running to the Harlequin. "Why didn't you help Will!!"
