OoC: Ok I'm looking to get to Preginald in the robot, but is the robot actually Preginald?

Joe finally found an entrance, not the cockpit, but it had lots of mechanisms just waiting to be tampered with. He jumped into the right shoulder and started throwing literal wrenches into the the robot's works, working his way towards the chest of the robot.

OOC: I was thinking Preginald would just insert his consciousness into the robot, but the thought of a climatic final showdown with Joe is making me think otherwise. Let's go with Preginald is piloting the robot instead of him being the giant robot.

As Joe began tampering with the shoulder mechanisms Preginald's right arm began to behave strangely. It wildly flailed about, haphazardly firing lasers in every direction, then it detached. A voice in the arm announced, "RIGHT ARM SELF-DESTRUCT MEASURE INITIATED" The arm exploded and knocked Preginald off balance. Coupled with his weakened knee, Preginald lost his balance and toppled through a nearby wall. "Good lord The Creator! What just happened?!"

Once Royce had gotten back up, he saw not everyone had been fast enough to avoid the lasers. Some were already dead, but most were still alive and severely injured. He quickly moved into the center of the injured and dug into the satchel hanging at his side. He pulled out a small device. It was one of the rarest devices a medic could come across. The thing they called "The Ring Of Life". he activated it and set it on the ground. As soon as he had done so, a dome of white energy surrounded their position and all those who were injured inside of it began to heal at an amazingly fast rate.

OOC: NOTE: This is only for healing purposes and will not stop attacks.

(Preventer Hanger)

Wufei stepped out of Altron, watching the rest of the Gundam pilots training with their new equipment. Well, I guess everybody has their own battles... he thought

"So how was the mission?" said an impatient voice behind him. He turned around to see Sally Po, the chief Doctor for the Preventers.

"Sally!... Uhh I'm fine I guess..."

She cocked an eye. "Humph. See trying to jump into battles I see?" she said harshly.

"Sally look... I... I'm... I'm sorry."

Sally placed her hand on his forehead. "Hmm. Temperature is fine... Having you been taking any narcotics, or..."
"WHAT?! No!... Truly, I'm sorry. I've been hot-head and fool. I truly am the weakling. But now, I start again. Please, that business in Berlin... I truly am sorry."
Sally's eyes loosed their glaze. "Apology accepted."

(Outside the Preventer Base)

The Gundam pilots were practicing their new upgrades. Zooming in and out of the field of placed Mobile Dolls, the pilots honed their new skills.

"Duo, I want to ask you something..." said Hilde.

Deathscythe Hell in midswing. "Huh? What is it Hilde-babe?"

"Where do you think we are in our relationship?"

All the pilots stopped their training and turned to face the two Deathscythes.

"Well?"

"I...Uhhh.... I guess that we are... fine?" Duo stuttered.

Hilde frowned in her cockpit. "Not like that, like seriously though... What do you think?"

"We're beyond se..." Deathscythe Hell Guilty punched the original. "Come'on Duo, tell me!"

"Well..I..Uhh..." Guilty took a swing at original. "YOU"RE UNBELIEVABLE MAXWELL!!" Hilde yelled, turning her Gundam back to base. Duo just then noticed everybody staring.

"The hell do you guys want?!" Duo yelled at them. The rest turned away, while Wing Zero and Wing Seraphim continued to look. Wing Zero visible shook it's head.

"Shut up Heero. You having emotions is starting to creep me out." Wing Zero shrugged and the two continued their practice.

Joe #6,573 saw the arm fall and explode. "Joe keep going!! You just took out one of its arms!!" He shouted into the cup and string.

Joe doubled his efforts, crawling his way through the robot. 'Preginald has to be in here somewhere.' he thought.

Some of the Joes found Shepard and the rest of the group. "Joe is crawling through the robot as we speak, we need to get out of here. We rigged this place to explode! We haven't set the time yet but better get out now!"

 

[Random berk]

Shepard was gaping all around her, watching several of the marines who had suffered fatal injuries starting to get up and heal miraculously. Then her attention was caught by one of the Joes, delivering his message.
"Good idea. Come on everyone, back to the breach! Lets move!" She looked at the Joe as the others began to move.
"Will Joe be alright?"

As the charge on the "Ring Of Life" wore out, Royce went about healing any more injured marines, then began moving out with them.

One of the Joes found Knife and Alistair fighting to get to the captives, while another found Vincent fighting Gibbens[footnote]Not sure if Gibbens is dead yet...[/footnote]. "I found some of the others!!" They both shouted into the cup and string.

Like a swarm of zerg, Joes flooded the rooms, reeking havoc as they went. "TO THE CAPTIVES!!" They shouted.

"He'll be fine, he's got a trick up his sleeve if Preginald wants to shoot his arm off again!" The Joe said as the Joes helped the others run straight through the walls of the fortress.

Preginald managed to stand up and saw Shepard and Co. retreating. "Oh no you don't!" Preginald said as he tried to run after them. As he began to run Joe's tampering caused his non-damaged leg to seize up and Preginald fell robotic face first on the floor. "Drat! Why am I malfunctioning?" Preginald said aloud.

As Model 13 was smacking in the face, it fell to the ground XP

OOC@Zeph: Gibbins isn't fighting Vincent anymore, he's back in Preginald's office with Shu I believe

Shu radioed in to the preventer base
"Duo Maxwell you are needed for investigation of a Gravity anomaly over Siberia" All the while tapping on the keypad for the granzon making preperations from Duo he then looked up to see preginalds arm being destroyed
"ummmm that doesn't bode well i think or would i be wrong in that assessment mister Gibbins?"

 

[Random berk]

Shepard nodded.
"Good. Here, before you go..." She drew her Carnifex hand cannon, and gave it to the Joe.
"Give that to Joe. If he manages to get Preginald in front of him, he can give him my regards with it." She glanced over at Preginald.
"So much for the perfection of machinery, eh?" she said, before turning to leave.

Jumbo Joe was mad, he wanted the 'DX' face, he started smacking the robot as the face started randomly changing from one face to another.

"[sub]Drat! Why am I malfunctioning?[/sub]"

"There he is!" Joe thought as he made is way to the voice he had heard.

"OOOOOOOO!! SHINY!!" the Joe's eyes started to sparkle, then gave a salute as he ducked into a portal and dropped off near Joe #6,573 who was still watching Joe's progress.

"Hey wait! When did you become our CO?" asked Duo. "And if it's a gravity anomaly, it could be Neo Granzon!"

Gibbins was typing the command for evacuation when Shu spoke, "No, it doesn't, but neither does the news that those stickmen have this placed rigged to blow." Gibbins finished the code and portals opened up across the base with robots making mad dashes for them to evacuate. "A word of advice Mr. Shirakawa, get out while you can. You're no good to us dead." Gibbins said as he stepped through a portal.

Preginald managed to get his leg working again and began limping after Shepard before legs were spontaneously ejected and he fell over once more.

As Jumbo Joe began smacking the Model 13 it eventually curled up into the fetal position =;(
Jumbo Joe could swear he heard an incredibly low-pitched sobbing sound.

"AWWW man..." Duo sighed. With that Deathscythe Hell descend back to "Earth" towards Siberia.

Shu yawned and looked at the computer screen
"don't blow up Preginald, you're still needed...."
Shu hit a couple of buttons on the granzon's portable control and formed a wormhole to it's cockpit and launched from the base
"Mr.Gibbins as much as i love aimlessly floating around i could use coordinates to the base at which you are now located"

Jumbo Joe saw the fetal position and felt bad for the poor thing. "Oh come on I'm sorry... If you do this face 'DX' I'll leave you alone as long as you don't hurt any of my friends, I'll even give you a giant drink of oil! How's that sound!"

Joe finally made it to the cockpit. It was much bigger than he thought it would be. "PREGINALD!! YOU GOT SOME 'XPLANING TO DO!!" Holding onto what looked like a medallion in his hand.
