Shepard sprinted after her team through the hallways. Eventually she caught up with them, and they ran until they reached the breach. On making it outside, they found a great mountain of Chaos corpses, all around the entrance. The Eldar were around their grav tank, looking pleased, while Samara and Thane were still on the Mako. Samara looked exhausted but exhilerated, while Thane was leaning on his sniper rifle, his chest heaving as he gasped for air.

"Get out of here! The place is rigged to explode!" Everyone perked up on hearing that. Samara opened the hatch and relayed the message to the tank crew, who began to drive up the steep cliff of corpses. The grav tank went up as well, increasing its altitude as it went forward to match the height of the pile. Those on foot began scrambling up.

Gibbins was nearly through the portal when he heard Shu, "Check the computer there, we're moving operations to the Berlin base." Gibbins then finished entering the portal and it closed behind him.

Model 13 stopped sobbing and made the face DX
He then sat up and gestured for Jumbo Joe to give him a hug <=)

"Joe?! That was you messing with my systems? You bastard!" Preginald leaped at Joe and grabbed onto his face, holding onto Joe with one hand and punching him with the other.

Jumbo Joe give Model 13 a big hug. "Want to go fight godzilla in my universe? He's a zombie in that one so he keeps on coming back!"

Joe picks up Preginald because he's a bloody DS and asks him. "Why does everyone like hitting me in the bloody face all the time! If it isn't rubble, it's either the face or the floor!"

Joe was wary if Preginald drew his gun to through him to the other side of the room first.

Shepard glanced around when she reached the top of the Chaos pile. Mardek's forces had taken heavy casualties and were falling back. The turrets on Preginald's base were thoroughly smashed. She activated her comms set.

"Joker! We need an immediate exfiltration, now!"
"Be there in a moment Commander."

OOC:I need to go to sleep as well. The Normandy will just take people out of the blast radius and can be used as anyone sees fit. I'd really prefer not to have it shot down though, not at this stage. I'll be back tomorrow, and hopefully set up a favourable conclusion to Shepard's, and my own part in this RP. See you then. And Zeph, I hope that Carnifex comes in useful at some point. Like if you have to duel Preginald in the Old West style or something.

With that Lamia turned off the video feed and through five kunai at the mech which impacted and detonated in fiery explosions

The explosions knocked Deathscythe several meters. "GEEZZEEE! The Hell is your problem lady?!"

The gundam charged at the new mech, taking a slash and then backing off.

Lamia coolly activated the double image system and used it to jump behind the mech as it charged then let off wicked wind element slash with her sword
"You can't possibly hit me you're not serious enough about this mission to even lay a finger on me....."

Royce had been following the others when he heard that Joe was going to try and fight Preginald. 'He might get hurt...he might die! I can't let that happen.' he thought. Then he heard that the base was set to explode. Suddenly he had a dilemma. If he left, there was a chance something would happen to Joe, something he could prevent. But if he stayed, he could be caught in the explosion, and end up dead himself. He remembered his promise and ran back toward Preginald, doing his best to stay out of sight, but still be close enough to provide assistance.

"WHAT?!" said an incredulous Duo, as Deathscythe fumbled back from the element slash. Frickin' ZERO SYSTEM

Deathscythe used the double image system, both charging in. Deathscythe then slashed repeatedly at the enemy.

Model 13 nodded enthusiastically at Jumbo Joe's offer =D

Preginald said to Joe, "Well here we are again, it's always such a pleasure. Remember when I tried to kill you twice? Oh how we laughed and laughed, except you weren't laughing. Considering the circumstances I've been shockingly nice." Preginald worked himself free of Joe's grasp. "You've won Joe. Let's settle this like gentlemen, what say you?"

"Dude I don't want to have a long boring chat while sipping tea and eating scones while sitting near a fire..." Joe exclaimed.

Jumbo Joe smiled and grabbed onto Model 13 as they went into the portal. "BRING IT ON ZOMBIE GODZILLA!!"

Lamia saw the displacment shimmer across her opponent, he had activated a double image system so she swung where she knew he wouldn't and then blocked next to her self where he appeared and swung and then parryed and countered with the lightning strike
"your mission is to defeat me, so carry it out or you are a useless soldier...."
