Charlotte looked Royce in the eyes. "That... is an Infinite Stratos mech armor, just like mine... However, unlike the usual armors, that armor has one purpose... Full slaughter of the opponent."

She let that settle for a second before continuing. "Even worse, if you let loose of your emotions, the machine will drive you kill... I cannot take it off you, it is bonded to you now.... I'm sorry."

Charlotte looked down, closing her eyes and sobbed a little.

Royce looked at the bracelet with a new-found disgust. 'I hate this thing...' he thought bitterly. He heard Charlotte start making some sad noises. He looked and saw she was beginning to cry. A twinge of remorse tugged at him. "H-hey...it's alright. It's not like I blame you for this." he said to try to comfort her.

OOC: AGAIN Trilby? It's like every night with you...you and your "sleep". Night anyway.

OOC: The armor can be destroy, but the bracelet is practically integrated itself with Royce, so it won't be removed... until the end of the Phoebe part of the Titans arc.

It is powered by.... hell I haven't a clue; they never explained that (Despite it only be like a years into the future.)

"Woooooo!!!!!" Sev roared as he rocketed back to earth. He dismounted gracefully and with poise, leaning on Royce's shoulder.

"Sup. I'm Severin, but you can call me Sev," Severin pointed to himself, "That's mah pig," he pointed to the hover-pig, "and I'm totally confused as to what the fuck is happening"

Joe facepalms as he sees Sev fly over the skyline. "Oh my..." He slowly leans over and draws a portal on the ground. He jumps into it, but his gut stops him half way through. He eventually wiggles his way into it, popping out in the room with Royce, Charlotte and Sev.

"Oh hey there Royce! I was looking for you!"

Royce memorized the number sequence, though he was sure he never wanted to use this "Infinite Stratos mech armor". He ignored everything else and asked Charlotte, "So you've been through this contest thing before, what happens if I lose?" There was much fear and trepidation behind the question.

Charlotte shook her head. "The only way to lose is to die... Only against your Titan. If you do, then your Universe is erased. Everything and everybody... gone... During one of the fights against the Titans, I was forced to kill another contestant. 'Solid Snake' was his name..." Charlotte starts crying again.

Even after the Titan Fight... I am still the soft girl that I once was... she thinks

Royce stumbled backward against a wall. 'What?...that...I...t-that can't happen...I-I can't...' as his thoughts raced, he knew he wanted to get out of there. He stumbled out of the room and down a hallway to another empty room. He closed the door, then locked it behind him. He leaned against the door and fought off a bout of hyperventilation.

Contest? Severin was curious. He had to know. Centuries of living on nothing but piss and rats had taught him the true essence of espionage. Now to invoke this training in an uncontrolled environment.

"So what's up with this contest? I just came from space so safe to say I'm a shade curious," Sev asked Charlotte, head tilted to the side.

Charlotte watched Royce stumble away. That's how we all reacted when the Veterans told us...

She then looks at Severin in disgust. "This is NOT a game, boy! How would you like, if everything that you know, everything that you hoped and dreamed for, all erased and no knew about it?!"
