Balthier explained holding up a part of the rifle between to fingers and looking closely if it has been thoroughly cleaned.

Black entered the ruin women's quarters and sighed, she started move the bit of rumble and brick out of the way as she looked for her sword.

"So that's what we're doing..." Royce said as he approached Bal, hearing his explanation.

Wanting to take her aggression out, Bullet got up and exited Figaro Castle towards where Tarkus, Balthier and Royce were. She really didn't pay much attention to them as she started practicing a good few yards away from them.

"That's the general idea. Though no doubt things won't be quite as simple in practice." Balthier said to Royce. Having cleaned all the parts of the rifle, he stuffed the cotton tip back in the right pouch, then began reassembling the weapon. "Now if only this Rajin fellow showed up, we could get moving. But alas, I've seen narry a trace of him since yesterday. I hope he hasn't been killed. We'd be in quite a predicament if that were the case." he added. "We don't. But it's the best lead we got. Unless you have a plan, in wich case, let's hear it." he said to Tarkus.

"Wait...who? A-also, do any of you know anything about these?" Royce asked, holding out the tags he had found.

 

[Chungus]

"Rajin. A most peculiar fellow. Has a fondness for loudly anouncing his pressence." Balthier said to Royce. after reassembling the rifle, reattaching the belt and flinging it over his shoulder, he looked up at the tags Royce wa sholding up. "I have not a clue what those things are."

OoC @Gear: we had some plot yesterday night. Now we wait for Nile to come back.

"...Oh, that guy. Why do we need him?" Royce asked.

"He is to power the airship using his control over electricity." Balthier answered Royce as he stood up. Noticing the pained expression on Bullet's face, he walked over to her. "You look restless. What is the matter?"

"Oh...great..." Royce said as he made no effort to follow Bal.

OoC: computer spazzed out, back now

After a while of searching, Black found her sword. It was slightly dented, and cracked, she carefully picked it up, looking at the blade sighing. Such pointless destruction.....how I loathe it.... Holding the blade in her left arm, she left the room and walked outside the castle. looking slightly annoyed.

"I've lost something during the incident yesterday. Now I'm just pissed." Bullet said, not even looking relatively close at Tarkus and/or Balthier and completely ignoring Royce.

"At least you're still amongst the living. That's a plus, no?" Balthier said to Bullet with a casual tone of voice. "The same can't be said for everyone." he added, looking over the rows of freshly dug, unmarked graves.

OOC: Got some time between classes, so I'm back for a short while.

Rozalin awoke in a foul mood once again, partly due to what happened the previous night, and partly due to her strange recurring dreams. She got up to her feet and took a stroll around what was left of Edgar's castle, eventually winding up outside.

Rex finally wakes up after being blasted by the grenade. [color=008888] Second day in a row that I've been plastered to a wall... I've gotta straighten up a bit. [/color]

Holding his head as it ached, he takes a look at the blasted top of the castle. [color=008888] Hoo... Good thing I travel light... Would've lost a lot there... [/color] He slowly makes his way toward the castle courtyard, his outfit slightly bloodied.

"[sub]Perhaps...[/sub]" Bullet stopped for a moment, then continued practicing. With the path I've taken... There is no escape. I put myself into that position, so its my problem. Not anybody elses.
