Black keep quiet as Bullet took the tags and simply nodded to her. "Hmm....I suppose I will..." Black replied to Tarkus, then followed where Bullet had gone and saw her sort them out in alphabetical order. Black paused before talking. "Those tags....are they of friends and family..." She eventually asked.

Bullet was slightly startled by Black's sudden appearance, but she continued sorting the tags until she placed her's last.

"... What's left of what I could consider a 'family'." Bullet simply said, making her voice as monotone as possible.

 

[Chungus]

"Oh, I have a name in mind. But I feel Edgar should be the one to name her. It may have been me who designed the ship, but his men were the ones to build it." Balthier said to Rex, then looked at Tarkus. "A tad generic, wouldn't you say?"

Black paused for a moment before speaking again. "If you...don't mind me asking.....what happened to them....." She asked Bullet, feeling slightly uncomfortable about doing so.

"They're all dead." Bullet said dryly before continuing. "We were hired by the Novus Orbis Librarium as a special security force near one of the Hierarchical cities. On the way there, we were ambushed by a shadowly paramilitary organization known as Sector Seven. One of their men, if you could call him that, Azrael had personally led the charge."

"He killed them. All of them and strangely left me, back nearly broken and in the ashes of the battlefield. Eventually a few local citizen's found me, and registered me into the hospital. Only after a month or so, I left. My back wasn't completely healed, but I could move around."

Balthier briefly waved goodbye when he walked off. He then pulled out his dagger from his belt and began absentmindedly sharpening it. Curious. I'm almost starting to feel like I've never left Ivalice.

"Its the path I choose. I don't need pity. Loneliness is a constant and life has always been hard. Sometimes its oppressing to the point of sadism. But that won't stop me from my own plans." Bullet sighed, gathering up all her dogtags.

The mason workers were able to reconstruct the stone part of the wall. After which they were working on another section of the wall.

The metal-smiths and welders began to bolt in steel plates on the outside and inside of the whole castle, where there wasn't metal to begin with.

"I see...Life sometimes can be cruel...but with a determinate like yours....I can see your get through it..." Black said to Bullet, then turned around. Life is cruel....How I shall always remember that....

"There's no point in crying over it. Its done and over with." Bullet sighed, taking her dogtags and stuffing them in pockets of her shorts.

"Oh yeah, about landing on the roof. Yesterday the explosions launched you and I off, and I managed to save you from falling. It was... Interesting that you slept through all of that."

Black turned around to Bullet. "Oh it was you that put me up there? [sub]I still don't know how I managed to sleep through that either...[/sub]" She said to Bullet, then gave her a small bow. "Either way...I am thankful...If you ever want a favor then please feel free to ask..." She added, then stood back up straight. "also there nothing wrong with crying over others....It shows you still have emotions.....and that you truly cared about them....Just don't remember them in vain...."

After a while of sharpening his dagger, Balthier slid it back in its sheathe behind his belt and began walking towards the airship. Never depend on someone who makes a habit out of disappearing at random...

Bullet crossed her arms and looked away slightly. "Crying invokes weakness. I am not weak. I will never show that emotion. [sub]Because it is beautiful to me... That little bit of emotion. And I don't want that beauty to be destroyed in a world like this.[/sub]"
