"Well, up until last night, I thought they may have actually been taking people away for legal reasons. Remember that they called their leader an Enforcer. Enforcer of what? I could easily see that person causing problems with other groups by killing someone. And we saw no evidence that this wasn't a city run by criminals." Ryu replied.
"In that case, I wouldn't have gotten involved. But it seems that these people are less than benign, as you said. So I won't stand by idly."
He shrugged. "As for their decision not to attack with heavy ordinance, perhaps they thought they had already dealt with us in other ways?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Indeed. Ever since I arrived here it has been almost nothing but barbaric displays and set-backs. The only other time I have been able to enjoy myself was when King Edgar first let me stay in this castle." Rozalin replied to Bullet. She noticed Royce walking around and said aloud, "Ah, there's that servant of mine. I was wondering where he had gotten off to."

"Well... I guess. I really don't understand this whole situation we are in." Bullet commented. Turning to see Royce walking around as well, she said. "I honestly doubt that he's a servant of yours, just some... Really strange man."

"yeah. Yeah you're right. I overreacted. Just promise me that next time, you get in there and help, as best you can. Fair?"

Royce, feeling indignant about her comment, walked away from Roz. It didn't help that Bullet was near her either, though he did have slightly more tolerance for her after the dog tag incident.

"They're also call themselves Overlords. Expirience has thaught me that induviduals who do that tend to be the tyranical kind." In fact, I think I'll call their leader Vayne. "And prior to the battle, they send that sabboteur while we did naught to anger them.
Speaking of wich, I wonder why they waited to detonate those charges until the battle when they could have done so while we slept. Whatever the case, it doesn't matter.
Construction on our own airship is complete. Now we need only a way to power it, then we can seek out their stronghold."

 

[Slenn]

"Deal." Edgar nodded. "Guards, you may unlock his bindings." The guards do so.

"Now, our tentative schedule is to find and locate the mayor in the floating city. But, without Eve, my guess is that action would be really hard to execute. So, what should we do now?"

OOC: I thought it was gonna be steam powered. Or did Balthier redesign that too? I kinda thought that installing a power source was included in construction.

"No worse than 'Gods', I figure." Ryu said.
"Perhaps they thought we might survive and attack them? Or perhaps they needed time to prepare them? Who knows how such people work?"
"Anyway, shouldn't a power source have been incorporated into the design of the ship?" He asked. "Does it have a name?"

"I doubt any of us really do understand this predicament." Rozalin replied. She paused to take another sip of tea, then added, "And of course he is my servant. He has expressed nothing to make me think to the contrary. Besides, I am a Princess, everyone should be so lucky as to serve me." After watching him walk off, she also added, "Though I must agree that he is strange."

Valvatorez flew down to Rozalin "You were able to make this man your servant? Very good work!"

Maybe if there was a large cash reward for you, I might reconsider. Bullet thought, seeing Royce still being Royce.

"Though I don't think that we had actually introduced ourselves. I do remember that a few people calling you Rozalin, right? Name's Bullet. Pleased to meet you." she said, taking a sip of her tea.

"well, my best guess would be to head in the direction they took off. Doubt they planned on us getting an airship of our own." he rubbed his hands, massaging the dents. "don't suppose we can do a fly around, can we? Be a good way to get us ready."

"[sub]Where does she get off...Calling me a servant. Royalty or not, that's just not right. I try to be nice, and I've got people calling me a wimp and a butler. I'm a medic...[sub]nothing more[/sub]. People need to learn to see that...[/sub]" Royce muttered as he held his Rossmore and walked away.

"Hmmmm.... sounds like we got a plan. We just need to gather everyone, and we're all set."

"Of course I made him my servant. Though he is seeming strangely ungrateful about it. Not everyone is allowed to serve me, and it almost seems as though he doesn't find it to be an honor." Rozalin replied to Valvatorez. "Princess Rozalin." She said to Bullet as if to correct her. "And it is not a displeasure to meet you." She added.

"Normally, yes. You see, I found that the original design for the airship had too many weakpoints. Firstly, it would have used a balloon to keep it afloat. That would make the ship a large targets. And while it would theoratically be possible to get rid of it, the second problem would remain. Namely that it would be difficult to maneuvre with the many propellors it had. So after checking the necessary components were present, I redesigned the ship to be more like the ones from my realm whilst keeping some aspects of the old design. But to power such a thing would take great amount of energy, more then the engine of the original design could provide." Balthier explained. "Why did I redesign the ship when I knew there would be no way to power it, do you ask? Well, a few days ago, I met a curious fellow named Rajin. He assured me that he could produce the power necessary with his control over electricity.

And no. The ship has yet to be named."

Eeeyyyup. Just what I thought. An upperclass twit. "Either way... I shall be off to do... Other things. Goodbye." Bullet set her cup down and walked away towards the courtyard area of Figaro Castle.

"I'm not your garden variety swordsman..." Ryu replied to York.
"I see. I can't help with that. I know nothing of technology. But perhaps we should think up a name."
