Rozalin perked up slightly at the mention of beef stew from Zach. Finally, something that may yet satisfy me. She went and helped herself to a bowl, sighing happily as she ate. Hearing Ryu, she turned her head to him and said, "Yes, I am fine. I simply remembered something...someone I need to get back to at home." As if I didn't have enough reasons already to want to leave this place. She listened intently to the explanation Ryu gave to Balthier. I was curious about that as well, but I wasn't sure if it was rude to ask about or not...

OOC @Slenn: I still call BS on Trilby claiming that Joel wasn't Overpowered.
And thank you Salty for reminding me about that mess with Conall...

@slenn ...For a second there I'd thought you'd gotten ahold of my early notes for Caesar. He was supposed to develop multiple hive minds as he constantly evolved, and tear himself apart. And yeah, seeing an object coming at the speed of light is bullshit.

OoC @FPS: Take Caeser. Make him a drug adict, and make him crack sex jokes every five minutes. That's Joel in a nutshell.
@Drak: Hey, at least you got to kill him.

"If you can keep control, then we have no problem." Balthier dryly said to Ryu. "How does this dying and turning into a Wyrm work then?" he asked as he turned around, walked to Zacharian and sat down. "Yes please. I truly could do with some food."

Bryce nodded as he went back to setting up gasmasks as targets and practicing his aim.

Zachariah handed out bowls to anyone who approached.

@Nail wow that sounds... Pretty terrible.

@FPS. He was weird, and really hard to deal with.
@Drak. I dunno why, but I seriously got a good chuckle out of that OOC.

"I'm sure you'll get back there in time..." Ryu said to Rozalin.
He turned back to Balthier. "I doubt that will be a problem. The only form I would willingly take that I have little control of is little more than a puppy." He smiled. "As for dieing and being reborn, simply put, I was hoping to find some friends of mine, after an incident, and instead ran into those responsible for their disappearance. One of them freaked out that I was still alive and ended up stabbing me in the back. When he did, I reverted to my dragon form. From that point on, I had control over the powers and they only grew from there."

OoC: @Drak: I will freely admit that Satan was OP, but that was kinda a point of him.
As for Conall... Yeah, I never got why he trusted Joel over his own mother, sister, and a girl he loved. There should be some things that trump such influence.

Zachariah watched them all sit down, and asked "So could you guys tell me whats going on with Bryce? I'm all for him talking to his virus, but he seems a little shell shocked. Also, where are we? And whats happened? I'd ask Bryce, but the poor guy seems out of it.
OoC @All oh, is mind control a bad idea? Because I might have been planning a bit of it...

"Quite a tale." Balthier replied, then ate some of the stew. Despite being rather hungry, he managed to keep himself from quickly work it down, keeping some grace about him. Turning around to face Ryu again, he said, "A tale that managed to suprise me, even though I believed surely nothing more could possibly suprise me. after having seen all the wierd things here. Back to the topic, since you are reborn a Wyrm when you die, that effectively makes you immortal, no?" Looking back at Zacharian, Balthier shrugged slightly. "Most likely, he's feeling down because a person he has feelings for has been abducted. That's what I assume. I'm uncertain. As for where he are? A place called the Expanse. That is what we've been told at least."

"Far from it. I think I'm a little tougher to kill than most people, but almost all of my kind died over 500 years ago. Their bodies crystallized into a ore known as Chrysm, which only forms when magical beings die. I've been near death a few times, though."

Ooc: @Fps: As I recall, this wasn't really mind control so much as influence. Conall trusted him no matter what. No matter who he tried to kill. No matter who he asked Conall to kill. No matter who approached him and begged him to stop or to come to his senses. It literally broke the character. Plus, neither of them would ever die or stay dead.

"Of course I will. I am the daughter of Overlord Zenon after all, I will allow anything to stop me." Rozalin said in reply to Ryu. She finished her helping of stew, then yawned as she began to feel extremely tired. "I believe the days events have worn me out. I bid you all goodnight." She said as she stood up and wandered about, looking for a place to bed down for the night. Finding naught but potato sacks, she scowled in disapproval, but was too tired to even complain, so she simply accommodated and fell asleep.

@Nailik: Yeah, but it's not satisfying when even after killing him two times he still isn't really dead, you know? And that just feeds into my 'Joel is OP' gripe.

@Salty: I don't have complaints about Satan being OP, since as you've said, that was kinda the point. Those kinds of characters have their place. Joel on the other hand, Trilby kept trying to justify as not being OP, which just got annoying since he blatantly was.
As for that whole thing with Conall, yeah, I was never satisfied with that either, since it all basically relied on him hating Four for what amounted to absolutely no reason. I could keep saying more, I think, but...

@Salty okay, that's different from my plan. I think you guys will be, if not happy with it, accepting it.
Zach shrugged. "I suppose that could be it. He did mention her to me, but if its affecting him this much..."

@FPS. Conall also destroyed Australia with a superweapon after being dumped by Winona. Which, now in hindsight, is kinda funny.

OOC: @FPS. No. Bascially, one of Wacky's pokémon groped a female character. Conall shot the pokémon in response, Winona blew her stack, and disowned him after the first time Conall had made an atrocity (the others were near atrocities I think). Winona (and myself included) were really forgiving and had a lot of patience with the guy. I tried so hard to drive reason into the guy like Luke getting in touch with with dad, Anakin. But at that point, I had to draw the line. He then proceeded to teleport to his floating palace and blew up Australia out of rage.

"If there is something more, I cannot tell you about it. I hardly know the man." Balthier said to Zacharian after finishing his stew. Why he gave that device to me rather then a person he knows better is beyond me. "I enjoyed the stew, by the way. Making something with ingredients this minimalistic is a talent." Turning back to Ryu, Balthier looked in thought for a moment before answering. "Their bodies are reverted to ore? How very odd. That sounds absolutely nothing like dragonkind in my realm. But then again, I suppose this is to be expected. Anyway, let's hope you won't find yourself on death's doorstep yet again. That can't be a pleasant expirience."

OoC @Slenn: Didn't she disown him after he blew up a mountain and refused to dismantle the weapon with wich he did?

@Drak: I know you're not on to see this, but maybe you'll see it when you get back on. The thing is even if we accept that Four had wronged him, what of Winona? He never seemed to listen to her despite the fact that he supposedly loved her. Shouldn't that have meant something?
@FPS: Yeah, as long as it is reasonable, I don't think people will mind. You might also try PMing the victims ahead of time to get an okay and set things up.
@Slenn: She was too forgiving, if you ask me.

OOC: @Nailik. No, if I remember correctly, she was thinking "One more slip up, and it's over." And no more doomsday weapons for Conall was basically it. But, no matter what direction I took, peacefully for forcefully, Conall would not change his attitude towards anything.
@Saltyk. HA! I was waiting for you to say that! Admittedly, I had little idea of where to stop the relationship. And I never really liked the relationship to begin with. So, yeah, I admit, I probably should have had her dump him much earlier.
