Black sighed as she watched the fighting. "Such pointless conflict.....It's a waste of effort and energy...." She muttered, she looked around a little when she heard someone humming.

A light snoring could be heard as a man quietly made his way between various workstations and computer set ups towards a girl slumped over a bank of consoles. He stopped beside and looked down at her sleeping form being illuminated by the green light from the screen. He then poked her and said "Working hard are we." The girl awoke with a start and nearly fell off the chair she was sat on in shock. "What on earth do you thinking you're doing! Trying to scare me death." "Now you know that phrase doesn't really work here. Plus you should hardly be surprised by being woken up by someone in here. I mean this is where we usually work." "Even so. Be a little more considerate next time." the girl said pulling a face. The man chuckled at it before suddenly getting serious. "So how are the readings?" "Oh." She turns to consult the screen and does some calculations. "Well everything seems to be falling within previous patterns and over here all these figures seem fairly stable." "Well that's good. Wanna take a break from this for a while?" The girl pretended to think the offer over for a minute before saying "I do believe I will take you up on that offer. Plus these consoles aren't that comfortable. Oh I forgot to mention there does seem to be a slight flux in values here..." "I'll deal with it you go get ready." Although she trys to hide it, the girl skips on her way out of the lab as the man pulls out a transceiver and brings it to his ear. "Hey, GG you receiving?" "This is... it." A figure appeared out of nowhere above a Sand dune and crouched down to observe the clearing... just as the Sandstorm started to die down. "Uuuhhhhh...." The dropped themselves prone onto the dune in attempt to further hide their self. The ground then suddenly began gently quaking. "What n0w?"
The now shaking ground woke up Eve whose helmet had fallen off her head as she had slumped over in her sleep. "Watts that? Why I'm moving?" she asked groggily before rubbing her face and looking around. She then noticed that the Sandstorm had stopped and began putting 2 + 2 together. A look of panic suddenly appeared on her face and she began scrabbling for her helmet and backpack. She saw the Rozalin girl from the day before. "Urm... I know you think you're high and mighty and all that but can you tell me if anyone decided to make like a ton of noise or something equivalent to a small seismic event more than, I dunno, once? she asked as she scrambled to her feet.
Jensen glanced back at York.
"Yeah, casual conversation tends to take a backseat when people start waving guns around. FBI, huh? Can I ask how you were convinced that this place isn't on Earth?" As he spoke, he holstered his gun and spoke to Causer again.
"Again, that sounds familiar. Detroit isn't exactly a Utopia, particularly with the Humanity Front riling up the population." He picked up his jacket from the sand and dusted it off before putting it back on, hiding his body armour and the prosthetic arms that York had noticed.

"That's more like it. Do try to keep it this way. Continue to waste your energy on pointless struggles, and you'll soon find yourself as little more then carrion." Balthier remarked to both Jack and Daniel. He was about to fling the rifle over his shoulder when he felt the tremors in the ground. "What now?"
Ild flew down to the ground and Daniel got the bullet out he "I was trying but he assaulted me twice for asking for his weapons. After all the man has a rocket launcher and is in fact in no military unit. And when I wanted to tie his hands as standard procedure for criminals he bloody shot me!"

Bullet smiled, raising her right gauntlet over her face. A small red flame manifested from the tips of the gauntlets as she said. "Releasing Armagus! HEAT UP!" An air decompression thudded around her, as her regained her red glow.
Dashing at Rex with increased speed and power, she hopped in the air, air dashed slightly, and aimed for Rex's head with a punch.

Eric turned to face Adam.

Rozalin smiled slightly as she noticed the sandstorm dying down, though her look became more quizzical as she felt the ground shake. She shut her book and put it away as she heard Eve wake up and speak to her. She pointed over at what was left of the wreckage of the two large robots the group had fought earlier and said, "While I wasn't awake for it, I can only imagine whatever happened there had to produce quite a bit of noise. Although I realize that I did just say I slept through it, so perhaps not." Stepping away from the tree a step, she turned to face Eve. "I still have unanswered questions. Is now the best time for you to address them?"
"What do you mean? What's happened in Glasgow?" A thought occurred to Jensen. "Wait... what year was it, when you found yourself here?"
Black raised an eyebrow at Bullet's sudden increase of energy and speed. "Impressive to say the least...." She said, then stood up a bit.
Two strange figures materialize from a blue swirling portal, one vaguely humanoid in shape, and the other is more equine.
"Ms. Hooves, this is certainly an interesting predicament you've blundered us into this time."

This Sir Sable is from Castlewood's past, so he does't know any of the other characters. Derpy, however, is the same one from WAOA 3, and would remember anything she saw there.
The Techno-Monks were attempting to formulate a summoning spell for bringing far off objects to a location without having to use portals. The first test of them, had an unforeseen side effect. It did not have a correctly binded target and that made the magic go haywire. The thing that was actually summoned was a gray equine with a blonde mane and 'derped' eyes.
"Hey! Trixie! What's the big idea with the teleporty-switchy again? I thought we were done with that... Ooh! This is Mr. Ghosty Knight's castle!"

Sable was investigating the monks newest invention, the multiversal disturbance radar. Oddly enough, a disturbance had occured in two places, an odd looking desert-ish place, and in the lair of the Techno-monks. "They must have bungled something incredibly badly this time.'

Derpy had already pushed most of the buttons she could find, knocked over many potions (Setting back much of the monks research by at least 3 years) and flown into two walls. She can see out of one of her eyes a new visitor. "Hi Mr. Ghosty Knight! It looks like you're still here! I thought everyone had gone when she came..."
"Small equine, what is your name, how do you know of my island, or me, how did you get here, and who is this she?"
"You don't remember me? I'm Derpy Hooves! Eqestria's mailmare! Wait, this place looks a bit different... I must be in the past! Ooh neat! Now I can tell Twilight I've been to the past too! Oh, wait, I remember some sorta warning she gave me, let's see, "Don't... rewrite... history... Don't... tell... the past... its future." Ooops. Uh, just forget about what I said earlier, can I go home?"
Sable starts leading the curious pegasus to the portal and starts contemplating the other anomaly. Derpy leans over to the portal frame and pushes a button. The portal activates, it's destination, dictated by Sable's thoughts, is the desert. Sable realizes what's going on and attempts to stop Derpy from entering the portal, knocking both of them in.
"Well Ms. Hooves, this certainly an interesting predicament you've blundered us into this time."
"I just don't know what went wrong"
