Rex grunts as he gets blasted back by Bullet's kick. He slides through the sand a bit before rolling back onto his feet. As the ground shook and sandstorm subsided, he gets back up, deactivates his boosters and starts to follow Eve, even though that last kick made it hurt for him to move. [color=008888] At least we're moving now... [/color] He waves at Bullet with a smile as he runs after Eve. [color=008888] "We can finish this later if you want. By the way, my name's Rex." Daniel noticed the giant worms coming and decided he would have to deal with Jack later. He took off running at least twice as fast as most men. Ild flew close by to him

Barren. That had been Corvo's observation. His vigil had passed. He wasn't in Dunwall or elsewhere in the Isles.
No place to hide in a desert and his black attire would not help at all as he drew nearer. Crouched he slid forward, flicking the hilt of his blade out and depressing the button on the side. Mechanisms whirred and clicked and the short blade slid out at the ready. He held his sword in a reverse grip and his left hand waiting to use the Outsiders mark if needed.

He froze when danger neared, hoping to pass below notice.

Balthier stumbled slightly when the gargantuan worm emerged from and dived back into the ground. Looking over his shoulder, he managed to catch a glimpse of the beast and frowned. "Well I'll be damned..." That thing makes the Yensa look like specs of dust.
Upon hearing Eve's exclaimation, Balthier ran towards her. "Running sounds good. By all means, lead the way."

Zer0 stopped his fencing tricks and looked at Derpy. "...is that a talking.../I thought I'd seen it all,/But then stuff like this..." The blue-haired woman turned to the horse. "Um... I'm allright thak you." The teenage girl pulled herself out of the wreck, and turned to Black. "Just seeing what I can scavange. Don't really need it, but it always helps to have spare parts."

Rozalin was stunned to see the colossal size of the worms that had emerged. "I suppose the question of why we should be afraid of worms has been answered." was all she could manage to say. She could only concur with Eve's course of action, and continued to run and follow her, though she began to fall behind as her dress impeded her movement. As bad as yesterday was, I daresay that today is already even worse!

Derpy smiles and gives the blue-haired lady a muffin. She suddenly feels and odd weight in her mailbags and decides to see what it is. It's a single letter. "Hmmm, I didn't have this letter before, hmmmm, no return address. Oh well. Are any of you named 'Handsome Jack'?

Sable stops shooting at the worm "Take this!" and pulls out liquification potions, and starts throwing them at the worm's trail, making a huge bowl of quicksand

Jensen briefly looked at the photos, then back to the worm. None of the cities had even looked familiar to him.
"I'd say York is right, or at least not far off. Now, I don't suppose you have anything to use against those things?"

OOC: I wonder, what's the story with using characters both here and in Saltyk's thread? Will this one end when Saltyk is ready? Or are they both going to carry on at the same time? If there's no overlap, then I might just bring in my primary character, especially if we're going to be fighting giant monsters often.

The teenage girl turned and saw the mechs. "...wow. Definetly gonna havta check those out." She nearly fell over as the ground shook. She got up, and looked over, seeing the worms. "Oh shit... GUYS WE GOT THRESHERS!" she shouted to the over Vault Hunters. They all stood, saw the worms, and immediatly started running, the blue haired woman dropping her muffin as she ran. The teenager followed.
