"Of Great Britain? So England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Island....what's it like over there..." Black asked, seeing as had never left Japan in all of her life.

"Because your wearing that hat" She said to Bryce, pointing at his cowboy hat. "Do you round up Indianssss? and have 'Ho downs'? and Sssay 'thisss town annit big enough for the both of usss'" Holly asked Bryce, not giving him time to respond to one question before asking another one.

"And killing that dragon makes us murderers, does it? Since when does self-defence constitue as murder?" Balthier asked Ryu as he followed him. "You had seen it yourself. It was beyond reason. And for the record, it attacked us first, not the other way around."

"When I addressed it, it seemed reasonable enough. There were other options. You just didn't look for them." Ryu responded.

With Royce's help, the complete smelly pile of corpses sits at the base of the carrier. Yuki covers her nose as her sword lights up. She turns toward Bryce [color=BB66BB] "Alright, do what you need to. And I don't judge you, cowboy." [/color] She turns toward Royce. [color=BB66BB] "Thank you, medic. Could you tell me your name?" [/color]

"Indeed, please do continue to call me Ratsel." she chuckled. "Yes... Its particularly... mild to say the least. I was born on the country side, but then my family moved to London and then...." Ratsel sighed. "They died. My mother was an aristocrat, and my father... I haven't clue. They died together in a train accident, and being their own child, I was thrust into a position that I wasn't ready for..." she said, in a relatively relaxed tone.

Bryce laughed. "Not so many indians, no. Had to kill a few bandits trying to steal cattle, but the Iroquis alliance and I watch each others back. Used to have a few ho downs with my buddies, but we just called 'em parties. And funnily enough, I never said the town wasn't big enough. It was usually a shot through the temples that I used as a one-liner. Never was big on words. Now I'm curious, where'd you hear all those cowboy stories?"

"So you would simply lay down arms because you don't wish to kill your own kind, yet you have killed several inhabitants of this realm and wasn't phased?" Balthier asked dryly. "Death is death. Why killing one inteligent being is acceptable when another is not is beyond me."

"My father was... rather worthless in some cases. He really wasn't a good father figure at all. Once there, I dumped all my energy into preserving what fortune they had left me, doing my best to keep thieving lawyers from getting their hands on it. It was tough for an 8 year old girl, but I toughened up. I passed becoming England's finests IS pilot, getting into the Academy. From there I graduated into college, becoming a politician just like my mother... You already know the rest, how I had to kill my husband in order to save a colony of people, how I was an exiled War Commander on the losing side." Ratsel bitterly chuckled. "But... That's why I adapted the Ratsel Feinschmecker persona, to try and right wrongs... Whether or not it has been successful... I do not know."

"Enough of my people have already been killed. Just because they exist. That was their only crime. I've had to kill my own kind, as well. I will not stand for watching them die, anymore. I fought to make their sacrifices mean something. I do not wish to kill any more of my own people, nor will I stand for watching them be killed. This is not simply killing some random foe. This was killing my own blood." Ryu looks at Balthier over his shoulder. "How would you feel if someone killed a Sky Pirate in front of you?"

OoC: I'm pretty sure Ryu has at least heard Balthier talk about being a Sky Pirate.
