"Hold on... This story isn't quite done..." Hopefully this doesn't backfire.
"Before the thief could kill her, the water of the lake suddenly exploded, as the warrior awakened. He looked and saw the man attacking his beloved. No sooner had the thief made a a threat to him, than he had killed him."
"He then, knelled down beside his love and held her in his arms. She could scarily believe what had happened and lamented that he had to see her in such an ugly state. He simply replied that she could never look ugly to him. To him, she was still beautiful. She called him a liar, but she was happy to have been able to look into his eyes one last time. She died in her lovers arms after sitting by his side for hundreds of years. They even say that he had watched over her during that time, and lamented that she wasted her life in such a way."
"The point of this story is that some things will never be. No matter how much you may want them, you will never have them."
After telling the story, he starts to walk away. "And very few people know this story. It's not quite a legend. More of a little known myth."
"Anyway, I think I shall go to bed. Goodnight, Yukino. Hopefully, you come to realize what is important, unlike the people in that story."
He walks towards the hatch leading downstairs, but along the way smacks Toad for being so rude. "Next time some one is telling a story, act like you have some sense, fool."
He then continues to the sleeping chambers below. Once in his room, he looks to his side. "What's your problem?"
...
"Idiot..."
OoC: I must go to bed.
