Royce poked at the corpse a bit, both curious and horrified.

Blondie reached the inn and leaned against the side.

"Shall we be off to practice then?"

"Indeed."

The two step off slight from the group as they took off their over clothing, revealing a light brown sleeveless undershirt with a stitched symbol on the front. The Earth globe with stylized "IS" letters and a sword bisecting the middle in the background; The symbol for the now-defunct Aggressors.

The two practice CQC on each other, extremely well versed in it.

Bullet did was she was told... Though it really didn't make much sense Yukino at all. Uuuhhh....

She tried to slow her breathing, but seeing the sight of the infected battle reminded her too much of home. It put her on edge slightly.

OOC: Not much to say, really. I guess the infected look pretty much like the rage zombies from 28 Days Later up close. If you want, You could say Royce finds one of the original infected, who would still have the original tendril wound and be slathered in black, veiny muck injected by the tendril. The liquid material is contagious.

"The upper layer of the city, no doubt." I remark, answer the question about a military stronghold, briefly pointing upwards to accentuate my point. "However, I have found no means of reaching it in the past few days I had been exploring the city."

Royce simply decided he wanted to be as far from the bodies as possible. He went over and sat against the inn.

Blondie smoked silently, his gaze drifting all around. He was able to hear some of what Mercer was saying and found it quite interesting, so he paid close attention. A good portion of what he's saying is lies." he thought.

OOC: @Nailik No, I just answered a few questions at once. Mercer said that a Hunter started the infection, but he didn't know where it came from.

Majeh props his face in his right hand, as he sits, watching Yukino and Bullet. It's a little late to teach her that now. She seems a little stuck in her own way and doesn't understand it. She can still learn, it will just likely be difficult... At least she has potential, though.

Rex nods toward Raziel and looks around. [color=008888] "Any idea where we could find the lifts up to the next level then? Maybe those things won't be smart enough to operate them." [/color]

He also notes Rin and Ratsel practicing and looks with a bit of interest. [color=008888] Wouldn't have expected that amount of skill up close form either of them... [/color]

"..." Bullet didn't response as she continued her attempt to calm her breathing, but her memories were still fresh against Azrael. She gritted her teeth, barring down on his image laughing as she was less or more left for dead from killing her 'family'. Ash like snow falling; everything burning. A mental etching in her mind. She just wanted revenge.

In the meantime, her argamus resonated with her emotions glowing red as they started to flicker with flames.

"[sub][sub]One final mission... Just kill him. After that... Maybe I'll join the rest of my family.[/sub][/sub]" she mumbled, her hands balling up again. No emotion... Can't show it. Need to hold it all in.

"No idea. You might as well get searching." Mercer said shortly. "I'd find myself a biohazard mask if I were you though. And I'd watch my back. Things are going to start getting very messy up here in the next few days. Hell, maybe the military will even get off their asses and decide that we're responsible for this business." He chuckled and turned away, strolling off and glancing up at the next level, searching for a route up.

"As I said, I found no means of reaching the upper layers. Although it is posible that it is well-hidden." I answered. "Why is it imperative we find this captive person, however?"

Majeh thinks for a minute.
"Well, you could try putting her in a situation where she has no choice, but to learn it."
Looking down, he then adds. "But she seems to have other issues. Fear. She needs to let go of that. Only by overcoming her fear can she truly begin to expand her strength."

"I see..." I distant-mindedly replied as I thought on the matter. It didn't matter where I would face off against Kain, therefore mattered little to me if I were able to return to Nosgoth or not. And yet, simply abandoning it seemed immoral. Thinking on it more, I realized I truly wasn't sure wherther I wished to return to the world I had left behind. "Then we had best start looking more closely." I eventually added, deciding that it would be wise to at least keep the option of returning open. Having said what I wished to say, I set off, trying to find a way to reach the upper layer.
