"So wait, we just plan to leave a powerful ally here to attack the guards? Forgive me Ratsel, but I'd much prefer her backing us up when we have to fight their mechanized units. We'll need everyone for that." Bryce said, looking around at the people involved at the discussion.

"I said, outta moi way!" Ba'Gamnan exclaimed as he leapt forward, swinging his buzzsaw weapon towards Yukimaru

Given the speeds at wich the Gustwing flew, its shots proved inaccurate, missing the infantry men, damagind only the area behind them, liftshaft included. Three of the five fired at the machine, while the remaining two fired at Majeh.

Yukino's fireball missed, as Ba'Gamnan had moved since it was fired.

"They may think we're dead. They may not have found us cause they obviously don't pay much attention to this city. Maybe we will fit in up there. Do you know what they look like? I don't. We're going to get hunted no matter what, but if we show our hands too soon, we're just going to get in more trouble. That last part didn't mean anything to me by the way/" Blondie said to Rat.

"...Uh...p-people like you, and those who raised you...I guess..." Royce said, starting to rub his hands together.

Valvatorez was now examining a chair "What if these have families of their own? All the furniture I've destroyed over the centuries!"

Fenrich facepalmed "Do you see what you've done?! I don't give a damn about those wastes of lights, just get them out of here!"

"Annoying insects..." Majeh said of the infantry men, as he began moving rapidly to make it difficult for the men the get a bead on him. He let out a series of slashes to both cut any bullets that got too close, and create a few vacuum slashes to attack from a distance. A few bullets did superficial damage, but little else.

Yukino sighs seeing her attack miss and the lift getting shot slightly. She turns toward Rin with a disappointed look. [color=BB66BB] "Be a bit more careful next time, hm? We kind of need that lift." [/color] She leaps off the Gustwing, using the velocity of the plane to propel herself toward one of the infantrymen firing at the ship. She manages to block some bullets in mid-flight as she slashes out horizontally with her sword at the soldier. Other bullets graze her arms and legs.

"Fine I'll just be going you murder." He said the light bulbs following him

"I still say the whole idea is nothing but a pointless risk. As Bryce has put it, what does it achieve for us to leave an ally behind to serve as a distraction when we have those monsters to do so for us?" Rozalin said to Rastel.

[color=01B7FF]Setsugetsuka![/color] As Ba'Gamnan swung at her, Yukimaru made a odd looking hand sign and continued to chant. Just as the bangaa's weapon was about half-a-foot away from striking her, the space around Yukimaru flash-froze, leaving Yukimaru, Ba'Gamnan's weapon, and everything else within two feet of her encased in a block of ice.

"Do you know how to speak their weird language? With the numbers and everything? I doubt that anywhere we go, we'll be 'fit' in." she said to Blondie.

"Once again, it's not my decision but her own. You'll have to convince her. Not me. I'm just giving you people heads up because unlike myself, she's quite stubborn." Ratsel said to Bryce, and generally everybody.

"And that exactly means...? What? I wasn't raise like how people are supposed to be?" Bullet asked, a hint of anger in her voice.

The Gustwing's heavy armor and shielding absorbed the fire at it transformed back into the Grungust Type-3, skidding against the ground slightly as Rin's scimitar morphed back into the 9ft long zankantou blade. Using the momentum of her flight, she swung her zankantou at the Infantry Men's chest level.

OoC: I use dice for disadvantageous moments.

Fenrich walked up to Valvatorez and began explaining to him how it was impossible for inanimate objects to have a real family

"You didn't answer my question" Blondie pointed out to Rat.

"No, nonono. I just...I meant...I just meant you weren't raised like I was. T-that's all." Royce said, backpedaling..

 

[DotSlash]

Rex nods a bit along with Rozalin. [color=008888] "I might be a bit late in saying this, but I went into the sewers today along with Raziel. The infected have already set up nests all over the place, and newer, more powerful mutated versions are starting to spawn. Even if Rin's pretty powerful, she'll get overrun in due time. Hopefully that would convince her not to stay back." [/color]

 

[Chungus]

Majeh's vacuum cuts dispathched two of the infantry men. One was cut in half, while the other had his organs cut up and died of shock.

Yukino lobbed off the arm of another soldier, just above the shoulder. Screaming in pain, he stumbled backwards and eventually dropped to his knees.

Rin cleaved the infantry man she was going for in half.

Seeing his fellow soldiers die, the last infantry man panicked and made a dash for the elevator.

Ba'Gamnan's weapon was pulled out of his grasp as the buzzsaw was encased in the block of ice. Hissing in irritation, he jumped on the handle of his weapon, jumping over the block of ice form there. Rolling to break his fall, he too made a dash for the elevator, making use of the distractions the other infantry men had provided.

"Oh, well that's totally different. Thanks for the heads up." Bryce says, before turning to speak to Roz. "So Rozalin, how's the medical training going?"

"Unlike you?" Blondie said to Rat.

 

[Saltyk]

Seeing Ba'Gamnan make a dash for the elevator, Majeh held up his left hand, two of the fingers seemed to light on fire. He swept his arm to make the flame hit in front of the lizard with a small explosion.
"Where do you think you're going?"

"So this entire argument was just a pointless waste of breath then?" Rozalin said. She sighed and started rubbing the bridge of her nose with one hand. Hearing Rex, she raised an eyebrow at him. "You...went into the sewers? What could have possibly possessed you to do such a thing?" She asked, shuddering at the thought of what might have been down there. Turning to Bryce she answered, "Not great. Learning everything from a textbook is hardly ideal."

With a shout of [color=01B7FF]"Zam!"[/color] Yukimaru shattered the ice block around her. As the block shattered, it sent out chunks of ice like shrapnel, with a particularly large chunk having been launched right behind her at the fleeing Bangaa.

OOC: Did the fight with Alex turn out okay? BTW, I'm back in Lawrence, KS ready for an awesome Thanksgiving break.

OOC @Slenn we learned that he is like Frankenstein's monster. Waved fire around, he ran away in fear.
