Bryce quickly began shuffling his cards. "The idea of the game is to get rid of all your cards by playing them. You'll get three cards that are facing down, so you won't know what they are. Cards go up in value, so an ace is the highest, followed in value by kind, queen and jack. 10's 4's and 2's do special things and are very nice, so be happy to have them." As Bryce spoke he put down 6 facedown cards, 3 for him and 3 for Echo. "Follow so far?"

"...Follow so far." Echo nodded slowly.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Good. Now, you'll be getting 6 cards that you can look at. You put 3 on those facedowns. You should probably pick your most valuable." As he spoke, he placed 6 cards in front of himand her. He picked up his and growled, before putting down a jack, 4, and 10.

 

[Chungus]

OoC: Time to jump in.

Yeul woke up, once more greeted by the sight of Caius being up already.

"Another long night's sleep. Are you feeling more tired then usual?" He asked, standing up.
"A little. It is nothing to worry about." Yeul replied, standing up and getting Dressed. Caius looked away to give her some privacy. Once done, she left her room. "Shall we see what this day brings?" Caius briefly nodded and followed suit.
Eventually, the duo left the hotel.

OOC: @FPS: I don't really want to play this game, so...

Echo tried to play the game to the best of her ability, but she wasn't very good at it.

Bryce played a game with Echo, but stopped after that. "Looks like playing ain't in the cards for you. Oh well, maybe next time." He collected the cards and put them back in his duster.

Alex looks up and waves at the duo as they leave the hotel. He is sitting at a bench facing the hotel.

 

[Chungus]

Upon seeing Alex wave at them, Yeul gave small wave in return. "Good morning to you." she said, walking over.

 

[Demonjazz]

Archimedes came up to Alex. "Hey you want to buy anything from my company." He held up a piece of cardboard that read. We will accept your request. No matter how creepy, impractical or dangerous it is and in small print it said [sub][sub][sub]If you pay us enough money[/sub][/sub][/sub]

"and the same to you! I think I spotted a few strange people yesterday. Would you like to tag along and see what they did?" Alex asked, smiling. Alex glared at the strange beggar and raised a hand coated in flames as a warning. "I suggest harassing someone else, little inventor."

 

[Chungus]

Yeul nodded. "Very well then. Lead the way."

Hearing Archemedis, Caius frowned. "Do you always approach complete strangers like this?"
Both Yeul and Caius look at Alex when he coated his hand in flame, but neither seemed paticularry impressed.

"It depends if they have money"

Alex stood up, only mildly creaking in his joints. "Well then, lets go. The inn they went to was this way. You going to try to follow us inventor?"

[Chungus]

"We just came from there. I don't think I saw anything out-of-place." Yeul remarked.

"Be gone, beggar." Caius said to Archemedis, standing by Yeul.

Alex frowned. "Are you certain? I saw quite a few people heading this way wearing clothing that didn't belong. Maybe I misunderstood..."

Echo was busy practicing writing things with her new wand, making things more neat and readable.

 

[Chungus]

"Perhaps I simply overlooked them. I suppose there is no harm in checking again." Yeul remarked as she began walking back to the hotel inn.
Caius gave one final annoyed glance at Archimedes before following.

Alex nodded and begin walking, passing the hotel and heading to the inn.

Bryce watched Echo work, occasionally smiling and giving a thumbs up when he noticed the marked improvements.

OOC: Where is everyone?
Because I'm planning on bringing in my new character, and it's going to be quite a show. Wouldn't want to miss it.
Also, I don't want to disrupt plot.
