Rex takes up a controller and cracks a smile. "Hoo.... Been too long since I've held one of these..." He looks up toward the ceiling for a moment.
Yeul shook her head. "No. It is, as I said, a unnatural whirlwind. Perhaps, from the right angle, you can see it even from this city. As things stand, the invading troops leave but a small mark upon the timeline."
"Brawl fighters?"
<color=red>"Let's do the tutorial. I have no clue what kind of game this is."
"You think Yukari knows what these things are?"
<color=red>"It's probably something from the Earth. So she may have encountered it."
Bryce taps a button on his controller, and the screen fades to show mario versus Pikachu. It then teaches the viewers most of the basic skills and moves, as well as pointing out all fighters act differently, as shown by Pikachu.
"I am afraid this is as much as I can reveal, having no knowledge of what else might happen in the imediate future. You see, time is not set in stone. It shifts like a feather in a storm." Yeul remarked, holding her hands behind her back, then paused for a moment. "I am Paddra Nsu-Yeul. Yeul for short. What are your names?"
"Hmmm... okay I think I get it. But why is the big nosed man with the mustache attacking the yellow mouse that can shoot lightning?"
<color=red>"I think it's a fighting game. But I honestly don't know who these guys are."
"Ah, the big nosed plumber is Mario. The yellow mouse is Pikachu. Every character in this game has other games, some more then others. All are owned by the company nintendo." Bryce looks over at Rex. "Its because I grew up with the games. What do you mean though? This is really the first time we played a nintendo game. I think."
Rex scratches the back of his head, a bit bewildered. "I could have sworn I heard you humming a tune from one of the old Mario games... Guess my memory might just be fuzzy. Well, whatever, let's get to it."
Both of them shrugged.
"Well, what's Nin..." And Reimu cleared her throat.
<color=red>"I think we'd dive into a lecture rather than playing a game if we keep asking questions. I think I got the jist of it. So let's try and figure things out from here."
