"Alright then!" Bryce slaps his controllers start button, and the select screen pops up. Along with the original smash characters, there is every non clone brawl character. Any clone characters are placed as alt skins for rhe originals. Bryce quickly chooses captain Olimar and sets the game to 5 stock.

 

[Chungus]

"When is a soul considdered damned? And this Netherworld, it is what the afterlife is called, I take it?" Yeul asked, her normally indiferent tone of voice giving way to a more inquisitive one.

Rex lazily taps until he chooses Ike.

Echo grew a little bored and wandered around the area around the new inn.

"A damned soul belongs to a human who has lived a life of sin. It is not up to me to determine who is and isn't a sinner. As for the Netherworld, it is where us demons live, and it is only the afterlife to humans, well the sinners at least. Righteous humans are sent to Celestia, but far few go there as of late."

Bryce hits start again, and almost every smash bro map becomes available. "I'd say final destination for the first fight, so that you guys can get a hold of the controls." Bryce quickly selects it, and the game starts.

 

[Chungus]

"I see..." Yeul remarked as she thought on Valvatorez's words. "On our world, the souls of the dead all all go to the same realm, no matter how they lived their lives."

"Why would there be a decline in those that go for this "Celestia"?"

 

[Slenn]

Reimu mashes the controls and quickly discovers how to use the sword.

Marisa also mashes the controls and figures out how to do spells.
"Ooookay. I'm casting spell cards."
<color=red>"I don't think those are spell cards. It doesn't look like any magic I've seen."
"Yeah, well... isn't this fire spell a lot like Patchouli's magic?"
<color=red>"Yeah, I guess."

She moves Link and whacks Zelda.

Rex smiles as he makes Ike jump and slash at Zelda, sending her flying somewhat. [color=008888] "Wooooosh~" [/color]

Valvatorez sighed "Because as time has gone on humans have begun to fear demons less and themselves more. Crime and sin are skyrocketing in the human world, and Prinny's overpopulate the Netherworld, while the demon presence on Earth has nearly vanished completely. Something I plan to change once I return."

 

[Slenn]

Marisa mashes a few buttons and finds out how to do that spinning crystal trick. She jumps and hits Ike.

Reimu jumps on top of Ike and mashes A.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Olimar jumps forward and slams Ike into the ground with a pikmin, before running forward, and rolling around link, only to fall off. "Damnit!"

Rex's smile turn to a playful frown for a bit. [color=008888] "Why's everyone ganging up on only me? No fair!" [/color]
He makes Ike start mashing counter, knocking Link and Zelda away from him because of Link's AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

 

[Chungus]

"Am I to understand the balance of your world and its afterlives is directly influenced by how much humans fear demons?" Yeul asked, tilting her head slightly.

"What would happen if humanity stopped fearing demonkind entirely?" Caius chimed in, his curiousity also piqued, albeit not as much as Yeul's.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Bryce sighed and put down the controller. "I got to go patrol, but I'll be back! I swear it!" Bryce leaves.

Valvatorez nodded "When humans fear demons they band together to face us. They may have to contend with us, but as a whole their lives improve as everyone helps each other to fight a common "enemy." They also seek help from a higher power, and their faith powers the beings of Celestia, who in turn assist the humans by granting miracles to them." Turning to Caius he said "In the same way their faith powers the beings of Celestia, their fear feeds us. If the humans stopped fearing us entirely, we would die off."

 

[Slenn]

The girls continued playing and mashing buttons.

After a few more rounds of playing, Rex turns to the girls. [color=008888] "So where's this place that you two always keep disappearing to?" [/color]
