Holly started go a bit woozy. "My head...isss ssspinning..." She said, as she tried to balance herself.

Black held her head slightly. "I believe that hissing sound was gas coming in....It's making me feel...slower..." she said to no one in particular. "We might want to leave....now if possible..."

OoC: @Outis, You took my job D:
also, the room is currently getting filed with gas.
I kept Blondie, Royce and Echo close by and unharmed for you.

Seeing the woman was entering the base after Bryce, Yeul picked up the pace, stepping over the field of corpses in a less then graceful manner. Caius followed, having very little to no trouble traversing the corpse field. Entering the base, the duo soon caught up with Bryce and Eve.
"Do you think the others are having difficulty doing what they set out to do?" Yeul asked, addressing Bryce and Eve both.

Bryce began walking through the hallways, revolver extended. "So, I've told you a bit about me. How about you? You grow up in a big family?" Bryce says as he moves through the base.

OOC: @Fur: -_- cccccccccccccccrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppppppppppppp... So they don't breath at all? Let's just say it's seeping in through their pores then cause they are touching the air...
@Outis: People are still in the Cell and they might be becoming Lethargic... even though I was hoping they would...
@Silver: An exploitable explosion? And it would only really add tension if it was nearby... But then again this group seems used to those.
@Salty: Are you trying to say Majeh is unaffected at all? Even with being worn out from using his Heavenly Arrow skill?

Edit: @Outis: Nope Last post was Silver.

OoC: @Nile: I don't know the exact cause. So, I can't say. But Majeh is a bit tougher than the average person. He's still susceptible to such things, but he'll take a minute to truly be affected. Ever see series where people can sustain themselves on the minute air in their lungs even in a vacuum? Think like that. Remember what I said? he never gets worried. He'll always be looking for a way out, completely confident in his ability to do so.

OoC: @Nile, well that's not fair. The story should change depending on our actions(Or in this case, abilities that allow people to avoid things), not the other way around...

OOC: @Nile: Hoping they would what? Also, poison in the air, eh? I got this.

Royce noticed he, and several others, were feeling and acting slightly strangely. After a few moments of struggling to find an answer with his slowing bran of why this was, he came to the conclusion of poison, most likely in the air. He let out a few, pale blue blasts of healing energy aimed at large groups of people in the room. Once that was done, he and Blondie started urging people to move away from the room.

"There...There's something bad...in here...We should get out. Now" he managed to say as he headed for the exit. Blondie did the same, both he and Echo urging Holly out as well.

OOC: @Salty: Still if he's breathing he would be ingesting enough for the effect of the gas to take hold at the pace of a normal person.
@Fur: Tell me that Valvatorez and Fenrich don't have pores in their skin. Pores breath regardless of whether the person themselves does. I was just hoping to go with the simpler explanation of the characters ingesting the gas by breathing but coming into contact with it would also have a similar reaction albeit with slower results.
@Outis: It's not poison, it's an incapacitating agent. If it was poison the characters would be choking. Plus last I checked Lethargy doesn't count as an injury.
@Silver: lolwat? Also timed bob? I don't think he would be very happy. Use Firefox, comes with a spell check inbuilt. Granted it only has the US English Pack though.

The occupants in the room would feel their bodies getting heavier and heavier and would be having a hard time standing.

As Eve follows Bryce through the facility's hallways, she muses over his question for a moment before saying "I suppose that you could say that I did." She was about to continue when she heard the sound of hurried footsteps behind her and turned around to see two people that she hadn't met before hurrying after them before blurting out a question which she couldn't quite make out. "I'm sorry, could you repeat your question? I didn't quite get that.

@Nile, pores don't work that way
Misconceptions and Myths

Many people are convinced that we pull in oxygen through our pores, and cosmetic companies capitalize on this belief -- at least through unspoken messages -- by claiming that their products "let the skin breathe." If pressed, the manufacturers would probably say what they really mean is that the cosmetics and creams are non-comedogenic, meaning they don't block pores. This prevents acne from building up, not suffocation. Some companies take it a step further and claim that their products contain oxygen that your skin will absorb. Since your skin doesn't have the capacity to absorb and use oxygen, dermatologists warn that this is totally bogus. The closest thing to pure oxygen in a skin care product is benzoyl peroxide, which kills acne-causing bacteria by oxidizing fatty acids.

Many people believe the urban legend that Buddy Ebsen, cast as the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz," nearly died because the aluminum in the makeup that gave him his silvery sheen clogged his pores. In fact, Ebsen did wind up in the hospital and was replaced, but it was attributed to an allergic reaction or an infection in his lungs caused by the aluminum dust. Needless to say, the makeup was modified for new scarecrow Jack Haley, and he danced through the role without incident.

Another famous movie incident involves 1964's "Goldfinger." After discovering his secretary has betrayed him, the villain Goldfinger paints her entirely -- hair and all -- with gold paint. Looking at her lifeless body, James Bond explains that the paint closed the pores she needed for respiration. In 1964, it seems, this was a medically accepted belief. The filmmakers took no chances and were careful to leave a patch of actress's Shirley Eaton's skin unpainted when shooting the scene.

Well hang on. I'd consider knockout gas a toxin of sorts, and I'd also imagine the Phoenix would do something about that. Also, how is the room sealed? What sort of doors?

@Outis, eh, I'd go with @Nile on that one. Making you sleepy isn't really a health risk. You could also look at most other video games with status ailments where healing HP doesn't affect that

OoC: @Nile: Majeh is hardly a normal person. For a variety of reasons. One being that he's just flat out stronger than most and a master of basically every martial art skill one can master. Including the ability to negate pressure points and such simply by flexing his muscles. I suspect he could stand up a little longer than normal based on such things.
@Furi: Depends. Sleep and Poison are generally classed as negative status effects. One might call them body effects as well, so something that cures poison may well cure sleep.

OoC @Outis: I'm with Furi here. Something that heals wounds sould'nt be able to cure poisons also. That is, unless it was stated in the source material that that's what it does.
@Silver: It's past your bedtime. :p

"Valvatorez is with them. If they ran in to anything needing stealth, yeah they've run into problems." Bryce says to Yeul. "Oh really? Lots of brothers and sisters?" Bryce responds to Eve.

OOC: @Fur: I don't mean breath in the literal sense. I mean 'breath' as in the expansion and contraction of the pore's holes. Like how your body can absorb water when you're submerged in it for too long. Well it's either Val and Fen end up sleeping for a few minutes or they stay awake and end up going 'The hell?' as people disappear around them...
@Outis: I guess you could say the gas could be considered a toxin however the effects themselves aren't lethal and can't be healed as such. It would be like using the Phoenix to heal someone so that they don't fall asleep and really don't think it can do that.
@Silver: It should be automatic if you're typing in Firefox and words should underline in red. If not then go to the orange menu button in the top left hand corner and click on the options button. When the options menu comes up make sure 'Advanced' is selected at the top and then the 'General' sub tab is selected. Then in the 'Browsing' section of the 'General' tab it should have a check box next to the words 'Check my spelling as I type' so tick that then press OK button at the bottom of the menu. It should then automatically check your spelling as you type and underline anything that's wrong or seems wrong in red and offer possible corrections when you right click the word.
