@Furi & @Nail: Well this ain't a video game. As far as I'm concerned, if it can be considered an unnatural effect, it should be effected, if not cured. Besides, as far as I know, no where in the Resistance universe is it clearly defined what a Phoenix can and can't do, so I'm exploiting that.
But getting sleepy is, in most normal situations, a normal effect caused by your own body. This sleepiness is being caused by something alien, and should, I feel, be affected.Nile McMorrow said:

OoC: @Nile, Ok sure skin can absorb water, but that's just the skin when submerged in water. I'm positive that some gas floating around wouldn't absorb into the skin too much, and even if it did it would be stuck in the skin, and I would bet that that wouldn't effect them in any way

"The others. Do you think the others are having difficulty doing what they set out to do?" Yeul said to Eve, sto[[ing mid sentance when she heard Bryce's answer. "Ah. I see... I was wondering why this is taking as long as it does." Looking back at Eve, Yeul bowed her head slightly. "Appolagies for the lack of introductions, but it goes without saying that this is not the right time for such things."
Fearing a posible ambush, Caius began walking infront of Yeul and drew his sword. "At least they will not be hard to track down. We had only follow the path of destruction."

OOC: @Outis: I just checked the Resistance wiki and it confirmed my suspicions. The Phoenix is a Chimeran weapon so I hardly think it was developed to reduce sleepiness. Additionally, it states that the Phoenix's function is cellular regeneration meaning it heals by fixing dead or damaged cells. The gas isn't destroying cells or killing things inside the characters ergo the Phoenix can not heal the effect.
@Fur: 1. The room is air locked meaning the air within it would slowly be displaced with the gas as it enters.
2. I stated before that the air in the cell was chilled however with the influx in heat from the increased occupants would cause it to start heating and rising meaning the gas coming from the vents which would be cooled would be fall and be around that characters' level for longer.
3. Then they miss out.
Edit: @Fur: Can I just ask is it stated in Disgaea if Valvatorez and Fenrich don't breath?

The occupants of the room would be lying on the floor nearly asleep or asleep if they were effected by the gas venting into the room. valvatorez and Fenrich would note that the Prisoner's jaw lock was intricately designed and appeared to be difficult to remove without any experience in mechanical locks or locks in general. Black's cannon shot barely made a dent in the airlock's door.

"No worries. I agree that standing inside what was an enemy base not long ago isn't the best of places for introductions."
Edit: @Salty: Well he would have just seen that the airlock is securely locked so that no air within the room would be escaping any time soon. And for the sake of plot but it looks like @Outis: will be the only one getting involved with it...

Majeh draws his sword, holding it at the door. "Well, Sword Spirit should be able to break through this."
Energy quickly gathers at the tip of his blade and then condenses into a ball of energy. Holding it towards the door, he smirks. "Well, as lovely as this has been, I can't say that I wanna nap."
The energy shoots from the blade, smashing into the door with incredible force.

@All: Back from hockey practice... I see plot, and I'm going to remove a character so without further ado.
I had fallen asleep at the apartment, my body still aching from yesterday. Strength may beget strength, but I'm not suicidal. At least I don't need to worry about any ambitious Noxian subordinate coming up and trying to kill me. Ratsel has been here helping me get better as well. She told me that Aisha had left. Something about trouble back home with a country called Insaraum.

With a shrug she observed her surrounds. "Now where exactly am I?" she pondered aloud.

OOC: @Salty: I'm sorry salty but I'm going to have to call BS on this one. Firstly he's used like five super skills in the duration of the raid and one which you specifically said drains him exponentially. He has also taken the brunt of the power from a large explosion and was also hit by a powered cannon shot before hand and now he's standing in a room filled with gas which has caused a bunch of average people as well as a more than average person to be knocked out but he's still able to activate special abilities with incredible force? BS. Even though you say he's 300 years old and knows all martial arts but now you're basically saying he's got no limit as well? BS.
As Majeh is fucking around with the airlock's door, a panel on the wall lowers revealing a viewing room with three individuals standing within. A childish giggle can be heard as the smallest figure leans forward and waves from behind the viewing screen. Another figure raises a hand and flaming pillars appear surrounding the people who had fallen asleep including the prisoner. As the flames disappear they reveal that the people they had surrounded had as well. The figures move to leave the viewing as the panel slowly closes. The magnetic locks on the airlock door unsealed as the hissing stopped.
