Jessica sighed as she noticed the Rookie's condition, but managed to wave back. "Really? It's pretty mundane to me. Then again I can kinda see how if you couldn't teleport it would seem pretty neat. That telepathy you can do on the other hand, that's pretty incredible." She mentally replied to Tophat. After yawning and stretching a bit, a set of light blue glyphs appeared around her head, hovering in the air. "Alright, just give me a couple minutes to sort some stuff out." Tophat would likely be able to notice that it seemed as if Jessica were mentally communicating with someone else.
As she heard what Lyra had said, Ness sighed a bit to herself before switching out to her black magnum and following her. This is past the point of talking it out or just extracting me, isn't it? ...I should at least make sure we come out of this alive then... She activated her eyes to help her spot anything that wascloaked and the weakpoints on anything she'd see as she followed.

In the cockpit, the four predators who had attacked them sat. Lyra sank her blades into the necks of the two farther back, yanking them out of their seats while they were still stunned. The other two began to recover, and one reached for a weapon at his waist.
"I could certainly try...Although I'm a very strict teacher." Persephone said with a sly grin.
"Maybe you just have a much higher tolerance for how long it takes you to find things unimpressive then." Jessica replied to Tophat before returning to her other conversation.

Valentine and Erica walked over to the crew member that waved at them. "DO you mind us asking what's going on?" Valentine asked, still kinda tired. "I managed to see...Lyra for a second before she ran off, is everything alright?" Erica added, pausing to remember Lyra's name correctly.

"Well, I don't punish students for failure to comprehend, but I do punish misbehavior. I prefer to keep my punishment methods a secret." Persephone said as she continued her strumming.
The predator Ness shot with the tranquilizer collapsed, but the one she shot with a real round flicked out a lightsaber, disintegrating the round with his saber. He held out one hand and sent both Lyra and Ness flying into the cargo bay.
Yuki just stared toward Persey for a few moments before waving toward Black. [color=bb66bb] "Yo Vocaloid!" [/color] Turning back to the muse, she sighed and nodded. [color=bb66bb] "Well, as long as you don't try to antagonize me, then we've got no problem. Let's get started, shall we?" [/color]

Ness did her best to try and recover, but got slammed into a wall. She clutched the back of her head as she stayed on the ground slightly dazed. ...A laser sword? Guess just guns won't be enough here..... She calmly pulled her glove on and waited for a bit.

The predator stepped into the cargo bay, picking up his allies body and pulling it to him. so. You killed him. Can't fault you for it. He was apparently incompetent. he threw the body at Lyra, and sending a barrage of lightning at Ness. You can die now. We've already lost this, if the stopping of reports from our lair is any indication. So recording you die would be a moot point.
Persey waved to Black as she gave a wide smile. "Tell me, do you know what a cord is? Or how to read music?" Persephone asked Yukino.
"If anyone did I don't think they'd have done anything about it anyway." Jessica gave Tophat the mental equivalent of a nod, then picked it up. She stepped into the portal, then set Tophat down on the ground. "I can't stick around here for too long, so I've got someone else who'll come by and take you where you need to go." She explained before hopping back through the portal and ending up back in Lakewest before it closed.
A few minutes later, a middle-aged man in a black and gold military uniform stepped into the room Tophat had been left in. He picked Tophat up with a confused look on his face. If this is some kinda prank she's pulling...
