Savranth led those with him to the Spice Rack.
"Excuse me, but the Xiphatian military will be covering the bill." He explained.
Thyme checked the documentation. "Everything seems in order, sir. Here's a key to room 315, on the third floor. Please enjoy your stay." He said offering them a key to a room.

With that Savranth led those with him to the room on the third floor to stay the night.

"That's extortion!" the shopkeeper protested.

"Alright." Jessica said with a shrug as she followed after Ness. "I'm guessing it's late..." She said, looking up at the sky. She took out her camera and glanced at her own map for a few moments. "So this bar here would probably be the best place to find someone still wanting to talk."

Yukino puts her finger to her lips as she winks again at the shopkeeper. [color=bb66bb] "Aw, c'mon... Please~? I should probably mention he doesn't like me all that much since I walked into his palace and exploded things in his face... And if he were to find out you gave me info about him... he might... y'kno...." [/color]

Ness nods toward Jessica, then attempts to open the door to the bar. "Sorry, but that little run-in with the wildlife has me a bit antsy. I won't be able to sleep just yet."

Lyra eventually wandered back to the spice rack, fuming at a bad days hunt. She poked her head in to check if anyone was home.

 

[Saltyk]

"That's not fair at all... If he finds you with anyone..." The shopkeeper began thinking. "If I put you up in my home for a night, you have to leave. Leave my home, this town, just go."

 

[Zepherus14]

Entering the bar, one of the waitresses approached the two with Echo. "Hello and welcome to the 'Heavenly Honors 14 on the Rocks'. How can we serve you today?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica rubbed the forearm on her right arm a bit. "Yeah I know what you mean." When the waitress came over, Jessica froze up. "Uh..." I really need to get some money for this place at some point... "Does that name happen to mean anything?"

Yukino gives the shopkeeper a little nod. [color=bb66bb] "No worries... You won't see me after tonight..." I won't ...completely lie to you. [/color]

Ness gives a little curtsy toward the waitress. "I'd like to ask you a few questions. My friend and I are tourists to this country." Looking back at Jessica, Ness scratches the back of her neck. "...I'll stop bringing that up now..."

 

[Saltyk]

"Very well. You had better behave yourself." The shopkeeper said, and led Yukino through the city streets to reach his home, which wasn't that far.

Inside, Yukino would see that it was fairly messy and disorganized, much like the city itself. "Just go to sleep and leave me be." He said, as he left her to go to sleep himself.

At the bar sits a man who notices the girls enter. He wears a jacket, and sips on a glass of beer.

"The name?" The waitress thought for a moment. "I don't believe so, I think it was just a name that the original owner thought was fitting." She smiled. "I think there was a list of about 30ish options, and that was the last one that finally was chosen."

Yukino sighs and looks around for a few moments to see if anyone else was in the home with the sleeping shopkeeper. [color=bb66bb] I wonder if... [/color]

Ness gives a curious look toward the man, but thinks nothing more of him as she chuckles a bit at the waitress' answer. "That makes me wonder what the other names were..."

Lyra shifted farther into the spice rack, looking for someone to talk to. "hello? Anyone home?"

Jessica just nodded at Ness in response to what she said, not wanting to give the subject any more attention that it had already been given. "Oh." Jessica simply replied to the waitress, her ears drooping a little in disappointment. She started looking around the bar, trying to find someone who didn't look preoccupied.

Thyme walked up behind Lyra. "Excuse me, are you okay?"

The man at the bar, simply nursed his drink, looking away from he girls.

OoC: Would Echo still be with them?

"I'm sorry, I don't know what other names were offered, I'm sorry miss." The waitress said to Vanessa. She then glanced over to Jessica. "Is something wrong? Cat got your tongue?" Her head tilted a little, in the direction that Jessica was looking into the bar.

"So should I seat you?" She concluded.

@Salty: I can't see why not.

@Salt: Yeah, she would.

Ness shook her head as she took a seat a bit close to the man with the jacket. "No. Thank you for the offer though, miss. What do you have that's non-alcoholic to drink?" She looks down at Echo following behind her as she says this.

As the shopkeeper finally goes to sleep, Yukino creeps into his room and swiftly executes him with her katana, a clean cut decapitating him. [color=bb66bb] "Well... any base of operations is better than none... And I didn't lie to him either, so... win-win~" [/color] The soul of the shopkeeper drifts into her blade as she licks up a little bit of the person's blood.

"Well, I was just kinda hoping there may have been a story or--wait, what's that supposed to mean?" Jessica replied to the waitress, squinting at her and seeming irritated by the phrase she used as her tail slowly wagged back and forth. Seeing Ness walk off, she followed behind her and sat next to her, turning her head to glare at the waitress as she went until she no longer could comfortably do so.

The man in the jacket merely took a last sip of his beer, and motioned for the barkeep to come refill his glass.

Lyra spun, a knife in her hand and at the ready, though she stopped short when she saw who it was. "phwoar buddy. You're a quiet man, so you are." she tucked her knife in her belt, and looked him over. "need anymore dishes done?"
