"The only person I know with the ability to heal along the way would be my father or Volarian at the base. We could seek out a doctor here, but we'd probably need some Gold. And either way will take time." Savranth explained.

Eventually Sable would come to a location with high walls, shaped in a square. Outside stood a lone guard.

 

[Random berk]

Cynane shrugged.
"Well, there's nothing else that I can do for her without knowing what's wrong. I guess we don't have much choice, do we?"

 

[Slenn]

"And we only have a matter of time before we can intercept Blake." He added. "As long as her pulse is normal, I think she'll be okay. She's probably in a catatonic state."

 

[Saltyk]

"We seem to have little choice in the matter, then. Perhaps, we can find a Medic at Blake's camp to leave her with?" Savranth suggests.

 

[Sablestick]

Sable thinks to himself 'Oh look, another place that doesn't welcome visitors with one guard at the gate. Let's hope this doesn't end as badly as last time.' he goes up to the guard "Hello, I was told to come here to speak with Sergeant Major Bellerophon last night."

 

[Zepherus14]

As Rita and Loki stopped following, the laughter seemed to die down slightly, almost like it was disappointed. Loki wouldn't be able to determine where the laughter was coming from since the trees around them seemed to echo the laugh around them. If he was to guess however it would be behind him.

The light seemed to get progressively brighter, it also seemed to get much more alluring, making it harder to not look at it.

 

[Random berk]

"You're the military leader here." Cynane said to Savranth. "I hunt alone, so most of what I cart back to camp is already dead when I load it on. What do you think we should do?"

 

[Furioso]

"Ugh, what the hell is with the light anyways?" asked Rita, looking at it. She was starting to get less scared and more annoyed about the situation.

 

[Saltyk]

"I think it's for the best that we move on if she is able. There should be someone who can help at the base. No military unit would go without medical assistance. Make sure everyone is with us and we'll see just what we can accomplish." Savranth replied.

[hr]

The guard looks at Sable. "I suppose that he is expecting you?" He asks.

 

[Sablestick]

"He most likely is, but if he isn't, tell him the name 'Sir Sable'"

 

[Chungus]

"What course of action is to be taken?" Loki remarked, grining slightly. Finding the entire thing just as amusing as the Lost Child, more so when it stopped laughing. "Avert your eyes from the light, to begin with." He remarked, answering both of Rita's questions. "I dare say I know quite a bit about the arts of illusionism, and in my experience, following that which another wants us to see is unwise."After listening to the Lost Child's laughter carefully, Loki had some idea where it came from, even as the laughter seemed to be carried throughout the forest. First looking to the left, then the right, he saw nothing betraying the Lost Child's presence. Finally, he turned around.

 

[Random berk]

Cynane nodded.
"Alright. She can travel in my cart. I just hope she doesn't start throwing up again and wrecking all my provisions." She turned to Makoto and the wild man.
"You should ride in the back again. Keep an eye on her, and on our friend here as well."

 

[Saltyk]

"Very well, then. Let's get moving. We'll leave her with a Medic when we get the chance." Savranth says as he leads the group along.

"We'll see." The guard holds his hand up to his ear. "Please tell Sergeant Major Bellerophon that he has a guest waiting." He said to no one in particular.

OoC: Gonna say for the sake of simplicity that everyone in Lakewest is with us.

The Rookie catched up with the group, and walked alongside the wagon.

The laughter continued to die down as they continued to stand there, Loki turning around made the laugh stop momentarily before starting up again. It sounded more like the laugh of someone who felt cheated out of a good joke.

 

[Furioso]

Rita started looking away from the light and called out "Alright, come out you coward!"

 

[Saltyk]

After several miles, Savranth and the others would come across Blake's camp near the border. They could spot several Golems, tents, and a many many soldiers. In the center of it all was Blake's much more impressive tent.

Far South in the sky thunderclouds began to form. Looking to be over Pewtrecove.

 

[Chungus]

"As my companion said so boldly; reveal yourself." Loki also called out with a voice raised to only slightly above normal speaking level. "Conceal your pressence no more. We know you are watching us, and that this light you conjured up is little more then a poor party trick." he added, then continued looking around, not turning back towards the light. "Whatever you are, you stand in the pressence master of sorcery. To me, your little efforts are... less then impressive." He tauntingly continued, chuckling slightly near the end.
