The soldiers said in response to Noel and Vanessa's responses.
Recognizing the signs of people aiming guns at him, Blake moves, barely avoiding Charlotte's shot and causing Dal'Sheen to hit him in the side, as well as veering his fire wave away from Sable and Steiner.
The rain continues.
"You all are getting on my nerves. I will avenge my wife. And if you get in my way, you're my enemy!" Blake replies, making several slashes that unleash fire waves at Charlotte, Dal'Sheen, Vanessa, and Savranth.
Savranth defends himself with a shield, luckily the magic break and the rain weakened the attack some.""

"What? Someone is making a mockery of me. In that case, they had better hope I don't get my hands on them. Or their death will be the lease of their worries." Icarus replied, rubbing his cheek a bit, a scar mark there from his battle with Yukino.

Sable says "This ends here! Vengeance is not the right answer!" Sable rushes Blake and switches to a battle-axe with corrosive potions strapped onto the blades and tries to cleave Blake through the head
"The alternative stands still. A propper drink will keep you warm when your clothing cannot." Loki remarked, then took another swig of the black drew, once more frowning at the unpleasantness of it. One would think this concoction is made of tar.
"I don't think you should be encouraging teenagers to drink." Evaline remarked upon hearing Loki.
"I see no fault in it. I it customary where I lived."
"Yeah, well, I'm not serving booze to a minor." Evaline answered, then looked towards Rita and sighed, feeling sorry for her. "I suppose I could lend you my bathrobe while you hang your clothes to dry. That's the best I can do for you."

"C-can I go now?" the man asked Icarus, clearly afraid to ask.
"I don't think you should be encouraging teenagers to drink." Evaline remarked upon hearing Loki.

"C-can I go now?" the man asked Icarus, clearly afraid to ask.
"There's still people in there?!" Jessica shouted, sounding rather alarmed. When Vanessa was attacked, Jessica was still close enough that she had to duck to avoid getting burned by the flames. She stayed ducked and cowering for a moment as she thought. What do I do What do I do What do I do?! Seeming to come to a conclusion, she teleported away, disappearing in a flash of light. She reappeared in the residential area of Pewtercove, in the middle of the street in between the houses Blake had set on fire and the ones he had yet to reach. "I-Is anyone still here?! I'm...I'm here to help!" She shouted at the buildings around her, trying to ascertain if there were still people inside.
Lyra stays close to Savranth, knifes out and swinging to take out any attackers he misses. The drones detach on their own, and go off to take care of various tasks. 2 hover near their allies, meaning to protect them from other attackers through judicious use of lasers. The other 2 swing over to target Blake, aiming to distract him with the shots.
The rain still feel, helping to reduce the house that was lit on fire.

Jessica, would find that the houses were all still full of cowering people who had not been able to escape. They had no warning of the attack and had been abaondoned by those who should have protected them, the military force of the nearby base had never sent support.

Noel thought back for a moment what the people with the fancy house had said. Ten years ago... BH. Blake H.? She turned slightly to him. "[sub]So this is what it brought you too...[sub]Maybe[/sub][/sub]" she mumbled. Shaking her head she said back to the soldiers. "We have a saying back home: 'Our duty is to the Throne, not the man that puts his ass on it'. Your duty is to the State, to protect its citizens. And what is this man doing? Endangering it, into the depths of extreme retribution." She then paused before her gaze returned to a near emotionless state.
"Then blame us then for killing your Commander. If you people won't do anything, then we will." Turning to Blake she mumble. "See your wife back in Heaven." Drawing her Mega Beam Cannon, she fired, just to remove his legs and possibility his arms.

Adam, who had sneaked off during the fight, took careful aim at the remaining Xiphatian soldiers with his rifle, then fired. Once he had shot a few rounds, he slung the rifle over his shoulder and ran towards the residential area before anybody could spot him, creating two ink claws as he ran.
Ness just gives the soldiers a disapproving shake of the head. "I highly doubt killing these civilians will help in keep--" She was cut off by Blake's flaming slash, as she managed to roll herself out of the way. Now on the side of the soldier who blocked her first strike, Ness exits her roll in a crouching position and fires an armor piercing round from her magnum toward Blake's chest. Hearing his reasoning for wanting to massacre an entire town caused her to bite her lip a bit after shooting. I understand why he wants to... but this wouldn't be what she wanted... would it?

Drinking what little of the drink remained in his mug, Loki placed it on the bar counter and stood up.
"You know, you didn't seem to enjoy that much. To strong for you?" Evaline asked with a cheecky smile as picked up the mug.
"It was not. My complaint stems from how bitter it was. The brew could do with more honey." Loki answered as he picked up his scepter and headed for the exit.
"Heh. See you around now."
